New ss .25 and pissed
So i spend a couple hours pumping this gun up and when i go to bleed the line all the air releases from the tank!! Damn valve must be stuck on the quick release on the tank or could there be another problem? If the valve is stuck on the quick disconnect how do i go about fixing it?

Lol good one knifemaker. I posted another thread about the performance of the gun but i will give a quick one here incase someone reads this and decides to use this info as part of the decision to buy one. After fixing the minor QD issue this gun has done better than i expected and i expected very good performance. It shoots better than my .25 mrod did during the break in period of the gun with much higher velocity and if you believe it quieter. My .25 mrod is pushing jsb kings at 850 and its not tuned to max i can hit 900 with jsb kings but it gets louder at that setting. Shooting them side by side there is a noticeable difference in noise and just the sound signature between them. The mrod has a bang to it but a quiet bang if that makes sense and the condor has only a very low swish noise of the air leaving the end it is very quiet. Even tho the condor is much quiter it is pushing the H&N baracuda 31 gr. pellet to 980 fps
it is set on power level 6. Thats 130 fps faster than the mrod with a 6 gr. heavier pellet and noticeably quiter all with just as good accuracy so to say i am happy with the condor is an understatement!
:8: Don’t blame ya one bit! Who could wait one more day. Hell if I wanted to have patients, I would have become a Doctor! 😀
Ya i find myself in those types of situations but usually the smart side of my brain gets it under control and tells the dumb side to cool down and stop being a retard and find out how to get it done
I was so glad when i finally hit 3k on the gauge after reinstalling that valve and opened the bleeder to hear it stop releasing air :8: In fact i was so happy that even tho it was midnight the first thing i did was stuff a baracuda in the gun and walk outside to fire the first shot just so i could hear it. All was right with the world again 😀
Very nice ldp. I have had many a late night wondering if I just screwed something up real good. My trigger on the Condor a few weeks ago. Instead of freakin out I went to bed and dealt with it the next day and what do u know I got it workin better then ever.
Because your gun did not have the rubber cap for the QD fitting it was probably used. PA sold me used guns for “NEW” twice.
For $15 plus shipping you can get a different type of fill nipple.
One that is self contained in side it’s self and that can’t happen.
CP Products in Arizona makes them. I use them for the tank adapters I make.
I dont doubt they will do whats needed to take care of customers. After removing the QD and fixing the valve and replacing it now holds air
Time to get it on paper and shoot something!
They have had this issue for a long time. I went through 2 tanks before finally getting a good valve on one. I had to loosen the fill fitting a bit to make it work on the second one. AF was really good about shipping a tank before I gave up the old one. I thought I just got a couple out of a bad batch. Could be you got one of those old ones. This was maybe 9 months ago. I have to emphasize that AF bent over backwards to fix things and keep me happy. I’m sure they will do the same for you.
K i pulled the quick disconnect off and it is a very simle valve. It has a phillips head screw that has no threads just a smooth shaft and an o-ring that slides over that shaft and they seat in the bottom of the QD. Well when i removed it the shaft and o-ring just fell out because they were not seated in the QD. It looked like the QD was not screwed in far enough to keep the shaft and o-ring seated and as the pump started to push air into the QD it shoved them completely out of the seat and allowed the air to just blow by and out the QD when i tried to bleed the pumps line. I reseated them and screwed the QD in so that the valve did not have enough room to open and then i slowly backed it off until the air was able to open the valve and fill the tank. Im in the process of filling now so hopefully it will be able to close and seal the QD off now.
And don’t forget the gun is lifetime warranteed. I think I would get the new tank in, and send the defective one to AG for replacement. Why wait for the midle man, when you can go direct? 😉

Thanks i will do that. I figured there should be some way to either replace that one or fix it but i was not sure.
Sounds like the fill nipple is not sealing and letting all the air out when you try to bleed the hose off.
Unscrew the fill nipple and see if it is self contained of it has a piston and o ring to seal. Post pics and I will tell you if it’s complete
Sry for crying like a little girl when i started this thread but i have very little patience and it was midnight when i started this thread and i am sure most of you could picture my face when i finally hand pumped this tank to 3k just to see all that work bleed out into the air 🙁 So i went ahead and ordered a tank so i can at least use this gun and i will call Air Force monday and see what they have to say about this problem. If i am really lucky Air Force will exchange my tank for another tank instead of the whole thing and i will have 2 tanks when i am in the field hunting.
Send it back the tank is very pricey.

Quiet Power! :8: I often have deer and other critters in the yard when punching paper. Kinda nice really. 😆 And in a pinch, never far from a meal. 🙄
