New style or Old Vulcan ?????
Just bought a Vulcan .22 and have a question. I have the old 2 hole hammer spring adjuster, also there is no bushing on the spring to quiet the ping! Is it worth pursuing getting the upgrades for a Vulcan that did not make the cut. I do have the barrel bolt handle and not the ball type.

I have a .25 so cannot comment about bushing etc. But feel sure he will change the HST adjuster for you and hopefully the other areas. On the .25 V there are some changes to the Hammer and other areas which he supplies free of charge. See other posts.

Thanks, will be trying both suggestions. Still trying to get the delrin hammer spring guide to replace the brass one. VERY noise brass one!
#1 was the bolt handle was changed from a ball to a barrel
#2 the hammer spring adjuster was changed from the 2 hole design to an allen wrench
#3 the shroud baffles were changed to 5 individual pieces with brings vs a one piece unit
#4 something was done to the hammer spring to help elevate the ping!
I have #1 and #3 but not the other 2. I guess the 2 that I do have were the most important but I do want to address the other 2. Ernest delrin guide will take care of 1 but if the hammer spring cap is available in an allen I would like to find one. Thanks for the input.
Easy fixes to both of your outstanding items:
2) Get one of these retaining ring pliers:

$20 very well spent. It’ll allow you adjust the HST but it’ll also come in handy with your end cap as well. I got tired of scratching up the end caps on my vulcan, colibri, and other pcp’s and these pliers work very well. Also, if you have any of the Hagan (or other) endcap adapters that allow for the addition of aftermarket LDC’s, these pliers will work with those as well.
4) the fix for this is a $1.08 (5/8 OD x 3/8 ID) rubber grommet from Lowes. The factory fix is a loose fitting 1/2″ segment of jelly tubing that is a joke. The grommet works a lot better.
Well number 1 I have been trying to contact Ernest or someone that has the delrin hammer spring guide. Sometimes I type to much and sometimes not enough. In this case it was not enough. I do not remember who posted the youtube video but someone posted the difference between the first many Vulcans and the later versions. AS I understand it there were four difference’s or upgrades.

The delrin spring guide was most likely added by Ernest. OEM comes with the brass piece.
I have the same gun except I have the delrine hammer spring guide on mine. The only thing the new version does is less spring twang but I’m not even that sure about it I’ve not had it done to mine. But to me I don’t care about anything unless it’s gonna improve accuracy. In that case your gun is just as accurate as mine. But I’ve had mine tuned by enest that’s a big help in shot consitantly and accuracy.
