I’ve been gone this last month and a half, got back to the o-ring replacement. Not successful yet, any helpful hints on how to install it other than trial and error?

There should be a replacement o-ring in your accessory bag… I would go ahead and replace it..
Not sure the o-ring is functioning correctly. Used a magnifier loop to insure the o-ring is in place, air ports visible.
Here is a pic of the breach o-ring you can also see one half of the dual transfer ports in the taipan veteran..

Tony I have the Taipan Veteran .25, I was doing a shot string after filling to 250 bar and on the 12th shot I felt a puff of air in my face, not sure what happened, checked the barrel no pellet, tried shooting another pellet same result. The pressure was down to about 170 bar. Tried finding schematic and parts listing; found only the mutant .22 schematic and no parts listing. Can you help me with this? First HP air gun little experience.

I am looking for a .25 cal T Veteran…. Are they coming with modifications?? What differences vs last year Vets, if any?

Use a cleaning rod or dowel down the bore to back up the orig while replacing..
