New TalonP Pistol
Anyone know more details? http://www.airforceairguns.com/Articles.asp?ID=252 I wonder if that tank will be sold separately and will it work with other AF guns.

what’s a mother to do? vote with your wallet- DON’T BUY IT! IT’S A CARBINE, NOT A PISTOL. AF needs to wake up and start with a clean slate if they want to make a pistol. a down sized .25 TalonSS IS NOT A CLEAN SLATE.
Depends on the price entirely. The Marauder pistol can be powered up quite a bit now with a heavier hammer spring, or a lighter valve spring, and for $389.00.
50 fpe sounds a bit optimistic, but .25 caliber in a small carbine would be a formidable little squirrel gun. I assume the barrel will be at least 12 inches long or they won’t be able to get velocity high enough to make it worth owning.
You have to figure 7.5″ additional to length to accommodate a shroud man enough to quiet the little beast down.
No magazine. Hmmmmm Given the Marauder pistol can almost equal the fps and fpe with minor mods, and has a magazine, the only thing the Talon pistol has going for it is the bottle…and expensive pellets.

In their haste to market a highpowered airpistol AirForce has failed to think the design through. All they have succeeded in do is developing a highpowered carbine. As it is no configured the .25 TalonP will be as louid as a .38Special going off…that certainly will get everyones attention. There is no way the current design can support a pistol configuration. They should drop the cal. to 177 or 22 shorten the barrel to about 6 to 8 inches so that the shroud can dampen the noise. That would be a great gun.
When the Verminator developed their gun into a pistol they at least created a separate plugin for a small CO2
I already want one(the AF pistol)…any idea on the price?
The P-ROD is 30″ with stock… making it 2″ shorter than my Talon SS. The new TalonP may be shorter. I wonder how it will sound given the barrel likely ends close to the end cap.
Fun times… PCP seems to be exploding at the moment.
I think its safe to assume anything on that pistol will fit any other AF rifle.
I doubt if anything is really new, it appears to be a talon frame with a small bottle.
I would love to be wrong but I be you will see more rifle stock on these than pistol grips when the customizers get working with them.

Actually, I have no need or use for a pcp pistol. Waste of time. With that kind of power, you just as well shoot a slingshot.
A tiny carbine, with some punch to it, fits under a seat, and is silent, makes a lot of sense to me. That’s my only interest.
I agree with you about Talon’s design. It’s a “Talon SS Lite”, any fool can see that. Problem is, the pcp pistol market is really limited, lack of selection and limited results being the factors that I see.
I’m not willing to pay over $400 for something with a 20 meter range.
Therefore, your advice, as always, remains sound!
