Q:

new to condor

I shot my condor a decent amount now and its ok in the accuracy department but i have alot to learn. I see that 2800 is the prefered fill pressure which i will start doing. I was wondering about the power wheel adjustment? It works but only for around 20 shots or so then seems to always go up to full power anyway. How is it that i seen shot strings of like 30 or so that seem pretty consistant and not go up in speed like mine does? like i said im new to this condor and would like to be able to shoot at a setting and have it stay there not go up to shooting full power after so many shots.. whats a good fill pressure, pellet, pw setting? what do you guys use with your stock .22 condor. How do i find my guns sweet spot? im looking for good shot count and around 8-900 fps

Looks good for a Condor.

😀

I think I can live with this shot string, looks good to me too, the main problem for me was Im new to pcp’s and they say 3000 psi and i kept filling and shooting at 3000, well my gun likes 2600 so I definetly learned somethin today. and I am very happy with my condor now. Very accurate too. I will not be changing a thing with it. Love it!!

That looks great to me i would not touch it.!!!!!!!!!!

Well i been doing alot of shooting and ALOT of pumping, Cant wait to get my shoebox!! So I came up with a string that I can live with, not bad but I no these guns can do better. I just might have to send this thing for a profesonal tune. here is what i found my gun likes.

2600 psi fill
28 grain eun jin pellets
power wheel – 6
25 shot string
end fill pressure was 1625 psi
1. 827.1 16. 975.7
2. 847.3 17. 959.3
3. 896.3 18. 955.2
4. ERR 2 19. 942.3
5. 919.9 20. 933
6. 919.5 21. 927.3
7. ERR 2 22. 916
8. 962.5 23. 914.8
9. 959.1 24. 901.6
10.960.3 25. 893.6
11.978.1
12.979.9
13.980.9
14.983
15.977.1

We could talk about tuneing for a long time. but if you stay with the setting that you have right now, if you turn your power wheel down a little at a time your string will start off at a slower fps and build up slower for more shots until it peaks out, and starts on the down side of the curve

I have a variaty of pellets but been using eun jin 28 gr pellets, also have jsb 18 gr, barracuda match 21 gr, Im gonna go shoot some now, ill post my chrony numbers in a bit.

what pellets are you using.
