New to me, anyway-Howto Zero rifle scope.
Maybe I been doing this backwards. I don’t use a gun vice, so, I take a shot and then estimate windage and elevation clicks to move the POI to POA.
This method uses a gun vice and you move the cross hair to POI. With gun in vice, take a shot. Look though and scope, turn elevation and windage turrets to align cross hair over POI. Next shot Aim and shoot at bullseye. Change elevation and windage to align cross hair over POI. Third shot should be a ‘BullsEye’. Zero complete. No need to estimate elevation and windage clicks to move POI to POA.
Never seen this method, what do you think? 😀

Call me old fashioned but I prefer to zero my scopes using the same hold/ stance that I will be shooting from, most of the time. (Prone, supported)
Plus I don’t find zeroing a chore, I enjoy it.
