Q:

New to site..Intro

I’m a new member and just wanted to introduce myself. I have read this forum for a few years and finally decided to jump in. I have always been fascinated with air guns since I was a kid. In the late 60’s I carried a Daisy model 103 with me everywhere I went. I also remember when I shot my first AirForce rifle on May 20, 2000 at the NRA convention in Charlotte.
After carrying my lever action Daisy my grandfather lent me his .20 Sheridan Blue Streak in the early 70’s if I promised not to shoot any cats with it. He told me then that since he was a kid people have spent the night in jail for shooting cats and that was in 1920! So contrary to popular belief, being up Sh!t Creek for shooting felines is nothing new. I had a few in the crosshairs with it but never pulled the trigger
I have owned a few Springer’s since but was never happy with the recoil and losing my sight picture and have always gone back to the Sheridan. I have mixed results on Squirrels over the years with the Sheridan and think it’s time to get real with a Condor .25. I have been reading about every page on this site trying to come up with the best configuration for my needs. Thanks for sharing the info. Ken

Not that far ahead of you. All I can say is hold on to your hat, this place is wild.

As for cat’s, I find dead cats tell no tales. 😯

Dave….I will move it over to the Condor Forum, Thaks for the help

:tag: Ken – I could write a 500 word dissertation on the virtues of the various configurations of AF rifles but that would not answer the first question I ask my customers;

What do you plan to do with it ❓ ❓

That will help us help you. 💡

Dave

P.S. You’re in for a lot of fun with your new rifle ❗
