Q:

new to TAG but not new to airguns

Hello forum I’m cliff aka pindog2000 I’m new to this forum and was interested in owning a condor, talon.I’ve always visited this forum but never signed on but today I decided to be a member.I first started with airguns with a pistol a browning 800 mag for pest in my back yard and it grew to a ruger black hawk and then from there several rws springers this was in 2008.I’m a navy vet of 9 years 91-2000 so I’m not new to guns, over the years I sold all my springers and converted to what they called the dark side.I have then collected some decent big bores and small bores from a Haley qb .22 to a will piatt tuned Daq .50 bandit. The majority of my airguns are in fact qb conversions built by the late jack Haley ,but I’m thinking on a air force condor big bore.Xp air two year wait, extreme big bores nice guns but I want something a tad more tactical,Daq the airgun gods haven’t blessed me to get on his list so I think I will start here.I’m thinking on a .408 condor built for long range shooting may put up one of my guns to start the project where do I start ????

Welcome Abord there P. dog! A real shame about J. Haley. He was starting to really make a name for himself.. The .257 that Jack was so fond of has really found a home here on the TAG.

You will find quite a bit about them here on the OtherGuns section of our forum.

Once again, Welcome Aboard! 😉

There’s quite a few doing amazing thing with airguns, and even more folks, like me, doing more mundane stuff, but having lots of fun tinkering. I hope you’ll tell the story of your Condor project here.
