New type of pellet
Anyone see this “new” pellet from Beeman? It is a Kodiak coated with copper. Anyone know if the copper would damage an airgun barrel and if it would affect accuracy and velocity?

they average out at 15.3 grains, hit hard as shit and keep going ❗ not to mention they ware just vas accrete as cp’s in my ebony beast.
they were made by champion out of jolly old england and were called fireball, you can still get them in .177 but I can no longer find them in .22 🙁
At that point, why not just make the hole thing depleted uranium, with a lead jacket? These things would weigh a ton. You could make a standard size and shaped pellet that weighs almost 60 gr.
How about tungsten or even better…depleted uranium?
I wish they’d put a copper tip in the predators rather than polymer. I don’t know that it’d change much. But it’d be cool. 😛
No, a steel tip on the predator would be even better! Can you imagine how well that would penetrate on game with thick fur or hard bones 😈
Kinda like that gamo rocket ammo. I think it’s rocket. Whatever it is, it has a copper bb (not really a bb, it’s smaller) stuck in the end. Don’t know if it did much, but it was cool.

These pellets look pretty cool, but that is about it. Maybe I can order some in the coming months and test them out.
BTW, has anyone tried the 32gr. .22 caliber pointed EJ yet? I haven’t been on here much lately so haven’t checked in awhile.
