Hello!

Just wanted to say Hi before I start asking many cheeky questions!
After a number of years hard working, and due to unfortunate accident, I have a bit to much spare time on my hands I have decided to take up Shooting again.
Always had air rifles, weihrauch hw80 gas ram & a theoben rapid 7, but with family and time they were sold. 🙁

Recently a friend of mine sold me a hardly used mk1 Stealth .22 in camo. Shoots well but well but slightly erratic. (he had been foolishly fiddling with the top hat)
So after a bit of research, I was shocked at the amount of custom modifications and the amount of power these rifles can put out when tuned.
In the uk we have the 12ft/lbs limit, so my plan is to make her into an accurate, contestant rifle and as quiet as possible not to upset the neighbors 🙂

First problem I had with her was the dam safety, needed to annoyingly push the leaver forward to get it to cock and stay. I removed the safety catch, examined the sear faces for wear, and put it all back together. As always, first go it didn’t work, stripped her back down and discovered the spring didn’t have enough force to push the catch to lock the hammer. Ordered a new heavier spring, And shes fixed!

Now im even considering buying a second rifle for fiddling….. .25? now where are the FAC application forms to stay legal! 😈
