what is the factory tophat setting on .22cal condor?
i got my condor today it is used but good shape and basically stock (for now)
i checked the tophat and it is at .110 is that about right?
if so shouldnt it be closer to .080-.090 range?
hmmm gonna have to test it out tomorrow
also
anyone try the .22 cal monsters? how do they group compared to the eunjins?

i was just curious basically and if i remember my old condor was set alot lower but i also had a custom condor weight and a ported hiflo valve
Do you know if it is a newer Condor valve or the older?
My TSS came with that type of gap, TG and a few others, possibly AF itself, said that they set the tophat gap so that the breach/bolt is in full contact with the tophat… 😕 Fuck if I can explain it at all… 😡

that may work on his set up, but as we all know there isn’t any two guns that are the same so unfortunately every airforce rifle will have a different t/hat and preload wheel setting once set up.
There is a guy on here when he tells me something I pay attention he has shot allot of guns and shoots them well, Set the top hat at .086 put your power wheel at 0 if you think you have to do anything else play with the power wheel a bit then shoot and have fun you done!!
I tried the Monsters and Eunjins in my Talon and I was shooting them both in the low 800s. The JSBs shot a better group every time but they both were not consistant. My first group of JSBs was less than .5 inches at 50 yards and the next best I was able to get was 1inch but like I said they are not consistant. I think this was because lots of the skirts had dings in them. Maybe they will shoot better when you shoot them faster.

try dropping the fps on the eunjins below 1030
on my old condor i was slingin em at 1080 and the were ok gps but when i dropped to 1050 they were better then went to 1030 they were better yet so finally i went to 1000 but they shot the same as at 1030
i was getting sub 1 inch gps at 65 yards off and old bbl and a sand bag as a rest
maybe it was my gun but 1030 seemd like the magic number for those pellets
i ordered h&n baracudas 21.14 and the monsters im shooting the eunjins at 1071 fps with ok groups

i forgot what they were set at from my old condor and wanted to see
i have some eunjins im gonna test tomorrow and ill wait for your input to see if the monsters are good
mine came with a .125 th adj and my monsters will be here by friday

well shes up and unning great
shooting the jsb 18.2 at 1030 and the 16 gr polymags at 1055
at 15 yards the have the EXACT poi and are very accurate they are all in one hole shooting off hand from my couch to the back of the kitchen
but loud as hell
going to be getting a shroud very soon
im surprised by the poi being the same as they are diff weights but heck im not complaining
actually with my 30 fpe gamo i have with the LW bbl these 2 pellets were very close in poi also
