Hi
I am new here. I probably have already committed a misdemeanor by responding to a “sticky” in the Condor tab that WalkonKing has. If so, my bad, I’m sorry, it will never happen again. (I would like to hear some feedback on it though.)
I am having trouble getting my avatar to stick. I used a jpg from photobucket (above) that is no larger than 120p in any dimension. I keep getting a message that the URL is not valid. Please have pity on the Noob and tell me what I am doing wrong. I would also like to hear some feedback on the sticky post I left.
I have really enjoyed reading your posts. Any help or comments would be appreciated.

You just needed to copy the url of the image and place it into the “Avatar” section of your profile.

It did not seem to work for me. I’ll try one that is smaller than 120p and see if that works.

Had the same problem as a newbie not too long ago. Check your profile and make sure of the following:
Under “allow BBCode” click YES
Under “always allow HTML” click NO
Try to load your avatar again. This worked for me and I am grateful to whoever told me about it.
