Newest Buttstock setup
Last week, I finished a non collapsible buttstock from a chunk of 4130 tube I had, that used my old Stealth valve, today I
finished another that used a new valve I made to fit. It’s pretty much a big valve that’s good with CO2.. Made another tube, and silver soldered a block on it to make the stock adjustable. Here’s pics. I am not sure of the velocity or shot count yet, but based on other cylinders I made, this should get about 25-30 shots.
I had thought about making a few and selling them, but it’s way too much work!

This is a Talon forum, and I’m not sure it’s appropriate to hijack it with talk about other styles of airguns …
I put the pics of other airguns up to let knifemaker breathe easier. He was worried that I might be delving into dangerous(and possibly unknown) territory, and I wanted to let him know that I was being very careful. One thing about his warnings though, it had it’s intended effect….I always am cautious around pressure vessels,regardless of size and do my homework to make sure it and I am safe. For that I thank him.

Not sure yet. Tomorrow i gotta fill it, then shoot it dead, and count shots. This is an early stealth, and I have got it shooting low power for more shots…..I’ll try to get numbers up in a day or so…

If you get 25-30 shots with that tiny little cylinder, how many shots do you get with a full size tank with that kind valve setup?

Thanks…….That one is a dual caliber 22/32 cal repeater, wood is curly maple…Co2 powered.
I’ve always had a thing for those antique air pistols, couldn’t afford to buy them so
I made what I wanted…
This is about as far away from a Talon as it gets….But here’s some photo’s of a few others I’ve done. I do still fool with my Stealth a lot though.
Jeepers Mreames, you’ve got quite the repitoire building. That buccaneer-esk airpistol is just beautiful. 
Is that a Cocobolo Rosewood stock?

It is true silver solder, 45% and yep, annealing was done after I welded and soldered it.

Very nice work on the butstock – SUPERB work on those replica’s.
