NEXT RIFLE AFTER AIRFORCE
I was wondering what direction everybody went as far as rifles for there next
purchase, since the talon & condor are so unique from other air rifles. I am looking at they AR6 & hopefully a AA410.
Thanks Dean

Yes .45 Devastators. If there’s a better hollowpoint out there I sure would like to see it!
On this morning’s hunt I came within about 2 seconds of hitting a coyote with this at about 40 yards. Had to make sure it wasn’t a dog as his coat was the most beautiful red I have seen and he was very healthy. Well, it wasn’t a dog and by the time I began to shoulder my rifle (I won’t point my rifle at a potential dog no matter what) he was back in the treeline and turned into a ghost. My first encounter with a predator while hunting.
They look like .45 Devastators.
Am I right?

Well I went the bigbore route and picked up a tuned 909 in .45 and just today figured out after borrowing another gauge that my gauges are likely reading 3or400psi high. Which means I have a lot of power I have not seen yet out of it (already seen 251fpe with a 205grainer). I’m certain it has more like 270fpe possibly closer to 300fpe. It sure seemed to be shooting a bit harder today having filled it up proper. Set everything up to test and the stupid chrony is broken.
I was afraid I would miss the accuracy of the .22 but this 909 groups just as good considering the bullets make so much larger a hole. I can cover some groups with a dime at 25 meters from a real good rest.
Here is a video of the bullet I will be calling a coyote to soon. Should be nice on the hide, nasty on the innards.
I might be wrong, people that I know who have these guns are competition shooters. All of them were around 14-16 fpe in .177
Super accurate. I will be afraid to take a gun like this on the hunt – It’s OK if I’ll scratch my condor, you know…
The 3 people i know have those rifles, all have the same model, the LG110HP (exactly the one in the picture i posted), in .177, one of them has an aditional .20 barrel for it (or is it .22 ??). and they all speak wonders of them. only one of them claims to have shot a more accurate rifle, a Rapid (he owns two i think).
Vlady, the LG110 from steyr´s “Adventure line”, specially the HP model (HP for HIGH POWER), give a lot more that 15fpe. maybe you tought i meant the “match”, 10 meter models??
How many fpe they actually give? i dunno, ill ask some of these guys that have them.
here is the actual rifle from one of my friends (notice the “LDC” on it)
What can i say? simple, elegant, ERGONOMIC, not too expensive (as compared to a rapid or daystate), just beautyfull!
Hi Benzin, were those 100yd. groups shot with the high power (30-40 joules) version or the 16 joules field target version ? Thx
“…they have posted groups made with this things at 100yards, that would make us condor owners wanna cry.” (?)
Well, Steyrs are 15 fpe-top competition guns. Forget about 100 yards.
Unless you want to compete, don’t waste your money on it, buy a Daystate instead.
Just my opinion.
I would use it for EVERYTHING! from hunting to long range sniping.
several friends from another forum have them, and they have posted groups made with this things at 100yards, that would make us condor owners wanna cry 😯
And even tho is not as powerfull as a condor, it is just SO DAMN ACCURATE, that it gives you the confidence to shoot at anything from racoon size down, cause you can place the shot EXACTLY where you want it.
in this country (Mexico) they sell for $16,000 pesos, wich is about $1,450 USD.
The store that sells them, imports them directly from europe.
You know whats “funny”??? when i bougt the condor, pump, scope, bipod, etc. i could have actually get one of this things instead. but nooooooooo, i wanted “the world´s most powerfull airgun”
😳
Now if youll excuse me, i think ill go bump myself in the head (again) 😆
Granite….
http://www.pilkguns.com carries the line, I think.
That Styer is just sexy….. 😯 😯 😯
The Steyr is a very pretty rifle for sure, and dead accurate. What would you use it for?
Who sells the Styre line on this side of the pond?
Thanks Dean
I am very clear about what i want next…
1.- Steyr LG 110 HP
2.- Career 9mm
Specially the Steyr, that thing is (to mee) “the perfect airgun”
isnt it a beauty???
now i just need to get the funds for them $$$$
Oh well, maybe ill win the lotto 🙂
If you’re looking for one hole accuracy I suggest an Anschutz. I have an Olympic grade rifle. It’s an older model, a springer. Simply incredible. I consider these airguns the Rolexs of the industry. They are not powerful but when you can cut X’s each and everytime, power becomes less of concern. You’ll shoot their eyes out! AKULA
Take a look:

I’m looking into the Career Dragon Slayer 50 by ShinSung for next year. I shot one that Tony I. has, and it was really nice. I only shot it at 25 yards with round balls that he had but it was dead on. I would like to take it out to 50 yards to see what it will do.
