I just bought the Yukon NVMT 2X24 but instead of using the adapter that you showed above, I went with the Yukon NVMT Adapter for daytime riflescope. With this set-up, I still use my existing scope and just install the Yukon NVMT 2X24 with the Yukon NVMT Adapter for daytime riflescope behind my existing scope. I did not have to zero my scope again, I can switch between day shooting and night varmint hunting without having to zero my scope every time.

a scopefilter and flashlight would only work if you have super ir vision. For us normal people it would all look black 😆

The 2nd option is your better bet!
