Nitrogen
I can get a 125ci 6000psi nitrogen tank for 4 dollar a month rental and 15 dollar refil. I looked and didnt find any info on nitrogen compared to air. Is nitrogen an acceptable and viable fill for airguns?

I use nitrogen from a 6kpsi bottle.
Before you rent, you better see if you can afford the regulator or similar equipment to fill your gun with. If you try to hook directly to the bottle and fill your gun, you will overfill so fast you might crap yourself.
It is almost impossible to release the gas slow enough when filling such a small tank like your rifle uses.
I know Daved fills from a 4.5k bottle using a home-brew valve setup, but I wouldn’t want to try this with a 6k bottle.
Whatever you choose to do, please be careful.
The air you breath is about 80% nitrogen. Benefit being it is moisture free, as already said. Nitrogen, helium and regular ol’ dry air are the only propellants that should be used in an air rifle.

I think Nitrogen has more benefits than drawbacks, if any, that I know of. It doesn’t cause rust. It is less susceptible to temperature change effects. For the most part it is an inert stable gas.
I believe nitrogen to be more stable then air = better consistency.
