Q:

No More Compacts…

I just got the official word from Kalibr.
There are no more compact Crickets being made.
This could be the last one left in the United States…

bah. i bought cricket becoz of the ultra short feature. if i want more punch theres plenty out there.

and also were coming with two different stocks. IMO the best was WST stock, light and nice instead of that they decide to produce heavy and non practical buldog stock 😆 because money are money 🙄

The Cricket BPs were coming in three sizes, Long, Standard and Compact.

IMHO the Compact (sometimes called Baby) was “THE BULLPUP” (short as a BP is meant to be but still full specs) and up to date the most accurate rifle I have shot.

The best selling probably is the Standard, followed by the Long. The Compact, even though with full specs, has less punch than its brothers due to the shorter barrel but still plenty and the handling is so sweet.

Glad I got my .22 Cricket BP when I did. I have the newer one with two stock screws and it is flawless. So I take it the BP version was not as popular as the longer ones?

I guess no new and improved Colibri as well? (not to hijack the Compact’s demise).

They wants minimize production costs and maximize profit. 🙄

The “Lelya Slayer” has been dropped 😯

Good news for Edgun!

The Cricket Compact really was a jewel (IMHO) and the shortest full power package I was aware of…
