Dear Brother Der,,,

Thanks a lot for your nice words and thoughts,,, i hope this bad situation will be solved very soon in my country ,,,

i can guide you to the same company that i bought pellets from ,,, they are helpful and cooperative,,, we can discuss about pellets more later,,, i will try to put more info,,

you just try to find out what is the best head size for your Edgun or guns???? as i explained you can measure some pellet heads by using a very good cliper to measure the pellet head carefully ,,,and push the pellet into the Edgun barrel by using a cleaning rod and when you get the pellet out from the muzzle ,,measure the pellet head again,,,and see what is the head size,,, ???!!!

then you will almost become to know what is the exact size of your Edgun barrel ,,,

currently i am back to my X-city waiting for my Edgun Box,,( shipping ) ,,, otherwise i would post pics by showing the differences in heads,,,

PM me if you want to help you for finding the best way for buying the pellets ,,,

Heyyy Hemn,
Really thanks or that deep STUDY and review its so obvious that there many different shape in JSB’s from the same caliber and type/weight/etc… and this is so bad unless dealing from one trusted source will solve this problem
We should focus on 1 Provider or seller ( kindly advise about a trusted source )
coz its like ( fighting in a battle with empty magazines)

I will be really glad if u post your review on the EDGUN Lebanon- Airgun Village page.

Thanks again loking forward to read more post or watch some footage/testing ( video) to cover this topic.

My best regards brother,
May god protect ur family and ur country

Dear Brother Der,,,,

sorry for the late reply,,, i am very busy and have no enough time ,,,

first of all,,,, i am not an expert on air rifles or pellets ,,, here in this form we have more skilled brothers like Wing man NZ ,(i hope you bring a link of your pellet review to here), or so,,, we have topics that discussed about pellets and all ,,, but i want to input some of my experience ,,, i hope others will share or provide you the link of the old topics belong to this issue ,,,,

all below details are as per my point of view ,,, if i ma wrong in any point ,,i hope my brothers correct my mistakes ,,,

1-) your first question; ” Are u having problems with the .22 JSB pellets 18 grains??? ”

Yes,,, some times,,, not all the times,, why,,because some time the accuracy is top and some time is bad ,,, i believe this will happen either because; 1/ when the barrel is getting dirty and you will get spiral and bad accuracy,,,
or 2/ the sizes of the head of the pellets ,,, this will make some problem/ inaccuracy shot for you,,, for ex; my edgun barrel likes the pellets with heads between 5.47 mm – 5.50 ,,, and unfortunately almost all JSB 18.13grs are 5.52 mm ,,,, i tried by myself by pushing (using a cleaning rod) a 18.13gr head 5.52mm pellet i felt a strong resistance while i was pushing the pellets through the barrel,,, and when the pellet came out the head was 5.48mm ,,, see below pics show you some flyer pellets and how the head sizes or other reasons caused a bad group or spoiled my best groups ,,,

this is 5 shots at 65 meters ,,, see how the fifth shot spoiled my group ,,???!!! :angrymob:

and this is a 5 shots at 80 meters (the two left above shots where taken by my father in low ,,which is not including my groups ,,, ) the one which is hit the left side down is also spoiled my best group at 80 mtr

this group is nice and i like it ,,, it was 65 meters away

also this is one of the nice 5 shot groups at 50 meters

so,, basically ,,pellets will create a problem if they have a damaged skirts or unsuitable head sizes,,

2-) Bad shaping ?

i got some bent tins in my last order,,,but it was ok for me because i couldn’t find that much damaged skirts ,,, and you can see in below pic ,,,

this is up to you from where you are placing your orders??? i can say my pellets are very good from that company that i ordered 120 tins ,,, don’t ever think to order pellets from Turkey ,,,

if you look at the pellets ,,,they are look like very good,,, i din’t even took out one pellet,,i just opened up and took pics,,,i sent this pics back to the company that i bought from them,,

3-) • Caliber discrepancy from 5.47 mm to 5.61 ( nose ) in the same box.
And when sorted ONLY 70 pellets out of 250 were 5.51- 5.52 mm
Anything wrong with the JSB production ?

see,, they are producing different bunch of head sizes,,, nonuniform head sizes from a bunch to a bunch ,,, or different shape of skirts or the back hole as well,,, (sorry i might not that skill man to explain everything properly,,, i hope W NZ come up with his wisdom )

below pic is shows the JSB tin that i bought from USA- Pyramyd Air ,,they have this label under the tins ,,, all tins i bought were like this,,,

and different serial number with different pellet skirt shapes ,,here you go,,

below pellets are from a tin with serial number 17000013 / 0 5.52 ,,, 15.89gr

please pay attention to the skirts

these are from a tin with serial number 14000013 / 6 5.52 ,,, skirts are some thin ,,,, 15.89 gr

and see the different in skirt shapes and thickness and back holes between the same JSB 15.89gr but with two different serial numbers

even the foams are different ,,, they put the thinner foam on those pellets who have a thicker skirts and vice versa

i have got this JSB locally from our hunting shop in my city and see the serial number and the skirts as well,,,,

they have a deeper back hole

this is another JSB type and read the label and see the difference,,,

also different serial numbers,,,

but all my JSB 18.13gr tins are from one bunch production and all have same serial number,, and all have the 5.52 mm head sizes,,

so,,, they are producing different shape of pellets which cause the accuracy for some and not for some other,,, it depends on the above situations and points that i have mentioned,,, and dont be pessimistic just try to find out which weight and head size you gun likes and go ahead with it,,, if your gun likes the bigger heads like 5.52 mm or above then you are a lucky man,,,because almost all 18.13 grs are 5.52mm ,,,and if not ,,,, i think you have to use the pellet sizer ,,, however i couldn’t get one for myself and try it,,but i don’t think it will be a bad way to try,,,

thanks ,,,hope this helped a little bit,,, and hope other share their bigger experience ,,, i don’t have that much info about it,, sorry

Thanks Hemn , waiting your feedback and pictures
