Q:

no power huh!

i have on several occasions had the gun fire with virtually no power even though the dial is cranked all the way up and shooting at about 2700 psi. is there something that i am doing wrong that is causing this?

The hammer at times likes to chatter down the frame. You may want to clean and polish your frame inside to keep it slick.

The most common reason for a low power shot is that you didn’t pull the breech block all the way back against the tophat after you loaded it.

To check this theory, purposely push the breech block forward about 1/16″ after you load the rifle normally. That’s how I proved it to myself anyway.

From time to time I have to pull the valve stem out and clean it off and put some silicon on it, I think airforce is going to see this as a problem eventually with there rifles.
