No shroud on a condor? – whats your opinion
Recently iv found a shroud on ebay, that seems ok?
Not many people have given much feed back on it other than “ok”.
\My question is, im going small game hunting soon, and will not having a shroud hugely affect my trip?
I cannot afford to spend more than $80 on a shroud right now.
Whats you opinion guys?

You will not be disappointed with a TT shroud. TT also makes the slap hammer mod that also really helps quiet this gun down and the one piece top hat Anthony makes with the inserts is simply priceless.

Using Tony’s shroud on my .25 Condor is near silence with the hammer Slap Mod. I do have one of Neils LDC on my 9mm Evanix Storm Pup it’s not silent but it is much much quieter then without it. Neil owns a Condor so I am sure he makes good shrouds for Condors. I know TT does.

NC’s shroud? what is this?
I had one before. Its design is cool. Putting on and off is easy. But it’s not very effective. I believe Tony and NC’s shroud is much better.
A shroud is really only necessary if you don’t want to be heard. If you are planning on ratting or otherwise in an urban environment, you probably want a shroud cuz its going to sound like a .22LR without one and that gets peoples attention in a hurry.
I don’t use one unless I’m neighborhood squirrel hunting but its for the dogs benefit, the neighbors know I’m there.
One could argue that the noise scares the game away but I haven’t experienced that with ground squirrels. Starlings and crows, yes.
If you are hunting game to eat, the noise probably wont matter much.
