noob needing info
Hello all, great forum. Well this is the first of what will probably many posts on the .22 cricket I haven’t received yet (should be here by end of next week). I was hoping some body could give me some dimensions on a .22 standard skeleton stock. It will have a diamondback vortex scope. I need the overall length and the height from the bottom of the pistol grip to top of scope. I know this measurement will differ some what with scope type and rings but if you can get me close I can figure out if my idea on a case is going to work. I know I could wait till I get the gun but the suspense is killing me,lol

I do not think it would be wise to cut anything off the barrel, Just saying,,
Just get a bigger case, I think it would save you a lot of money in the long run…

Damn, so close. Maybe I’ll have to cut an inch or so off the barrel,lol. Guess I’ll have to take a different route.

If you had a compact cricket coming then you would be ok since its less than 25″ long. Standards are around 27″ to 28″ i think.
The skeleton stock outfit fit in the same slot height wise as the synthetic, ~ 13″. I believe the standard .22 is 27″ in length. Can tell you definitely on Thursday.

The space that I have to work with is 25 1/2″ x 10 1/2″. I was hoping it would fit in that space, then I would have one nice setup

I had a .25 cricket in a 36″ Plano gun guard hard case with no problems fitting a high turret 6-24 scope on high rings. Length, no problem, 14″ height interior should be fine.

I all ready have the case, well it is not actually a case. After I got it I thought it would be perfect if the gun would fit in one of the pouches. I might be able to cut a hole in the pouch and let the barrel stick through or come up with another idea. When I get it set up I will post pictures. After reading quite a bit on the forums I have seen similar ideas but I haven’t seen this one yet. I think it will be the ultimate shooting bag
