not quite Mutant SHort fever, so due diligence
As much as I’m taken by the thought of owning a Mutant Short, I need to ask one more little question. Are there any reliability issues with this gun? I’ve read bunches of good things. What’s the downside with these guns? I’m assuming I won’t buy until there’s a CZ barrel available.

PS are they easy to work on (at least to replace o-rings?)

It’s a very simple gun. Very easy to work on. I haven’t had any problems with mine and I have owned 3 different ones. 1 Standard and 2 shorts. The only problem I had was with the barrel. Other than that the guns are solid. I have 4 other friends with them and they haven’t had a single problem. Dman found a really good gun. Thanks for telling us about it!

Good to know the gun is a solid design that’s held it’s reliability in the time it’s been on the market here. I’m good to go. Topgun-Airguns has them for pre-order sale with the CZ barrels for $1100.00 plus shipping. Petr also mentioned that the Hummingbird will go back in production this summer.
