Nothing Special Here
Been wanting a bullpup for a while, but as always- I wanted to do my own thing. Uber expensive bullpups were out of the question- too much money up front, and I don’t like the look of the stock on most of them. So I’m building a Marauder based bullpup. I’ll post pictures when I have some that are worth while…
Basic run down of the parts:
– TJ .30 airgun barrel, 24″ OAL .5″ O.D. so it’ll fit in the barrel shroud and work with the factory shroud mounting stuff.
– Russian side lever breech. Yep. This Mrod is a side lever. Breech had to be modified for .30 cal and the .5″ O.D. barrel. Also some work for the custom TP.
– Cothran Valve.
– HuMa regulator w/.30 cal plenum, set for 160 bar (2320 psi). Yep. It’s regulated too.
– Rapid-70 bullpup kit for Gen2 Mrod. Took a long damn time to get a hold of him, but I’m stoked he’s still kickin’ and sending out this bullpup kits!!
– Custom fill plug that has a gauge, so I can keep track of un-regulated air.
– Hill enlarged Gauge Port- more flow
– Hill lightweight hammer
– Hill PEEK striker
– RAW trigger blade- not really needed, but I had one laying around, and the Rapid-70 trigger components will fit around it.
– Threaded end cap that replaces the factory Mrod barrel shroud end cap. It has M18x1 threads for larger LDC’s.
This Bullpup will be set up for only pellets. I’m thinking this combo should be good for 80-100 fpe. Not sure how many shots… 10+? Probably around that. I’ll post pics when I get my breech/barrel back… Stay tuned!!
