O Ring size for shroud baffle internal and endcap?
Anyone know the size of the O ring that goes on the end of the baffle assembly, and on the screw on end cap for the baffle?
I took mine apart and the O rings didn’t manage that too well. I’d like to replace them, but having a hard time finding the thin ones needed.
Already asked the distributor, so this is my next stop.

Hey Hoot. Somebody posted some of the O ring sizes for the Edguns. They have the breech end of the moderator as 12.0mm X 2.8mm CS. They didn’t list the one for the baffle.
I took my parts to the local hardware store and found O rings that were close enough to fit. The end cap O ring is really tight and takes some pressure to get it started over the end of the barrel.
I just measured the ID of my moderator tube and it is .915″, that works out to 23.241mm.
If you can’t find O rings locally, I have found some, at McMaster-Carr that “should” work.
McM Carr has 2 options for the end cap, one is Shore 70 and the other is Shore 75. The Shore scale is hardness, higher is harder/stronger. I usually buy the hardest O rings available. The Shore 70 one should work as the pressure, at the end of the moderator, isn’t very high.
The end cap O ring is #9262K266, 12mm ID X 3mm cross section X 18mm OD, Buna-N, Shore 70. $9.00 per 100.
And #9263K126, 12mm ID X 3mm CS X 18mm OD, Viton, Shore 75. $13.25 per 10.
The O ring for the middle of the baffel is # 9262K619, 21mm ID X 1mm CS X 23mm OD, Buna-N, Shore 70. $7.35 per 100.
I can’t guarantee that these will work but, they are the ones that I would order, if I needed them.
I love ordering from McMaster Carr! If I order by 3 PM, UPS gets it to me the next day.
Since you live in Arkansas, UPS will have to ship it to the nearest outpost, and then deliver it by mule. Don’t get too excited about the mule. I would bet that it won’t be stump broke and will almost certainly be wearing a chastity belt. 😆

Mule service was discontinued last year to cost state costs. The money was diverted to studying improved inbreeding techniques, dental stem cells, and an educational effort to bring the state’s average IQ into the double digits.
All worthy causes that will bring greater prosperity to our state. Just last year, we noted an .005% increase in “double-wide” ownership! You can’t argue with those kind of results!
UPS now delivers to the state border at various bus stops. Generally the next Arkansas resident coming back alive will just pick up the package and drop it off at the nearest crossroads to your house. A bit unsophisticated, but it works. It’s still faster than U. S. Mail.
Thanks for the help. I’m going to Dallas next week and I’ll try to locate the rings there. Unlike Arkansas, most of the business there have buildings.
