Q:

OEM condor hammer

Can the stock condor hammer be re-installed without regard to orientation (front or back)? I didn’t think to check when I took it out, and put gun back together… 😀 Thanks in advance!

Greasing those rings help just make sure to clean the barrel after 10-20 shots. Any excess grease in the breech between those two O-rings will get blown done the barrel and effect accuracy. Safety toggle is there so you can’t shoot the gun while the breech is loaded but also has its benefits once removed. Mine is still in. Upload a pic of the breech face being chipped with a pic of the top hat, that shouldn’t be happening at all. No Bueno!

Thank you very much! I put a little silicone grease on them, plus the breech o-rings. For a while, the shots were going wild, but have seemed to settle down, for whatever reason. Originally, I thought it may have been due to me removing the safety toggle, which seemed to hold the hammer back until I removed it. Still not sure… I know also that the breech face is getting chipped from the tophat not centered, or whatever??? I have been adjusting the tophat until it just allows the bolt to completely travel to either side without touching.

No either side will work just fine unless excessive wear is present on the delron guides. Which a quick polish with emory cloth to clean it up does the trick.
