OEM Shroud Cleaning
Any good info on how to clean the OEM shroud without having to take it apart ?..

Actually the only cleaning needed would be occational shaking to get rid of the loose particles inside.
I am so confused? why clean the shroud???

I did mine at my friends Shop. He sells Jewelry and Watches and has a SS cleaner in proper size. I think it´s 40 cm x 15 cm or so in size. I would´ve cleaned The Viper too but unfortunately it didn´t fit .. 😯

I’ve never seen one that is bigger than a jewelry/electronic equipment cleaner size.
Wouldn’t the cleaning solution cost be prohibitive for the big units?

I had this machine for about 25 years and gave us great and problem free service ever since.
My wife uses it for her jewelry and I for just about everything I need to clean that has places that are hard to get to.
I like to watch it working and see the swirls of grim coming off.

Heh Greg place where I´m working is company Branson 😯 They produce machines for ultrasonic welding of plastic for automotive production.
I have one but it’s a bit small to fit the shroud into, only 5″ cubic. Maybe I can stand it on end and do it to both ends ?

I did mine in one of those ultrasonic cleaners. Damn was it dirty. It’s a good device for cleaning all kinds of stuff from jewelry to gun parts.
#2: Put your fingers over both ends
#3: Shake the crap out of it

It’s a New Zealand colon cleanser used prior to a colonoscopy.
The goal of the colonoscopy prep is to eliminate all fecal matter (stool) from the colon so that the physician conducting the colonoscopy will have a clear view of the intestinal wall. There are several ways to achieve this, and some doctors and patients will have their own unique methods that work best for them. There are, however, three main types of preparation: external application of Prepsol, ingestion of phospho-soda or sodium phosphate tablets, and a spoiled fish/chicken broth favored in Arkansas.

Just nit-picking and trying to be a clean freak there Mike.
Noting to do with acquiring anymore accuracy or an improvement of suppression.
Maybe it’s easier to do it now then to let it accumulate much longer.
My 22 shroud weighted 166 grams when it was new, not it’s 168 grams which equates to about 2-16 gainers of lead dust in there.
