The UPS truck initially passed my house and came back an hour later. I recognized the driver so it was the same one.

In the process of taking my son’s crib apart to use the wood for pellet trap. He’ll be fine with the mattress on the floor. Daddy’s hobby comes first!

Until a couple of hours ago, I wasn’t supposed to get my 30 cal R3 long until Thursday “by the end of the day”.
The UPS tracking site has now been updated to: Wednesday “by the end of the day”! 😯
I saw the change in the delivery date around 1:30 AM and I had to make a quick trip to Wall Mart for bait.
I now have my back yard baited with bird seed, popcorn and bread loaves, I WILL track the UPS driver down at 10:30 AM Wednesday, scope and sight the gun in and: hopefully have a first kill to post before I have to leave for work at 3 PM!
Like Brother Hemn says; God Willing; I just might be able to post pictures of the first delivered US 30 cal R3 long!
You guys that got on the 30 cal list just a few months ago don’t have a clue what it is to wait well more than a year for one!

2 bags of mulch and the ole lady’s hassack, fill it up put some cardboard across front and shoot. Works like a champ..
Donny. Mod the shroud and front stripper holes like I did. Makes a big difference in muzzle report and is free to do.
Quieting the pellet impact is another matter. Good rubber mulch packed target helps a lot.
I like Burris Signature Zee’s on my powderguns – almost as much as Sako Optilock’s so if that holds as good quality then it’s a good mount. Too Tacticool for my tastes though but for those who like the look it’s probably a very good one.

An R3M long is headed my way for tomorrow, but it’ll likely be way below freezing and dark by the time I get home.
What kind of scope rail is on that puppy? I need to get some 30mm rings quick, so while I’m in “new gun” fever, I don’t duct tape the scope on! Hmmm…with JB Weld, I wouldn’t need shims 😆

Just picked it up from the UPS center. Couldn’t wait for a 1830 delivery.
As you can see the only blemish on the stock is at the rear anchor point. A little stain and you’ll never notice. First Edgun, glad I got the long. Extremely impressed and I haven’t even shot it yet.
