it takes like freakin 500 pumps to pump up a tank from 0 to 3000 im so tired… i need a hill pump bad….

idk…..im not sure about the compressor….. i know ur suppose to let the pump cool down (its the benjamin one, the manufacturer claim it doesnt heat up) but ya rite it gets extremely hot ….. but i have like 30 oring repair kits and check valves and all that stuff and i can take apart,fix and put back together that pump in about 20 minutes. (ive done it so much) so bad orings arnt that bad of a problem….. but i try to take care of with divers silicone every once in awile….
The hell with that “pumping” crap and finding and going for, and paying for air at a dive shop. 👿

You think they cost to much. Okay, lets add it up.
Cost of air, + cost of gas getting there, + wear on car, + not running out of air and having to stop shooting until you can get your tank refilled. You could sell a little air to your airgun buddies for half the cost a dive shop charges. :9:

Yeah, ten minutes pumping max fifteen minutes letting it cool minimum.
I found it took four rotations from empty and then I never emptied them again!!
Be careful, I fucked up my middle back pretty bad pumping with improper form. Man just thinking about it makes me sore. 😆
you shouldn’t be pumping that long non-stop. your pump will over-heat and you’ll damage the pump internals – especially o-rings. they melt at high temps and you can generate high temps if you pump rapidly for a prolonged time.
i think pump manufacturers want you to limit pumping sessions to 10 minutes to prolong the life of your pump.
also, there shouldn’t be many occasions when you pump a tank from 0 and you should usually stop around 2800 psi even though your tank is rated at 3000 psi. you’ll prolong the life of your tank, your pump and your arms: it takes more work to pump from 2800 to 3000 than it takes to pump from 2200 to 2800.
i try to not let my tank drop below 2200 and then pump it to 2700-2800. that doesn’t generate much pump heat, doesn’t take that long and doesn’t take that much effort.
yeah im workin on it but no choice rite now…… it works…but makes my arms so tired…. takes me around 45min. non stop pumping
I agree – a SCUBA or CF tank has diver grade air with very low moisture content – meaning better for your barrel and easier on your arms.

You need a CF tank BAD.
Will take just as long with a Hill or even FX 4 stage. I have both and have also owned a Logun pump. All are a bitch on a big bottle gun.
The difference with the Hill, FX, and Logun is that you’ll still be able to use it years from now….as a backup to your CF TANK. 😀

I had a Hill pump for both condors befor i had a CF tank
Pump like this I locked my arms and “squatted” using my weight to push the pump down I never got sore
and Why replace orings which takes 20 mins when ya can pump for 10 -15 mins let your body rest and let pump cool down? also only shoot it down to 2000 PSI then pump back up it is much easier
