What kind of oil is everyone using?is there sum thing very common and available ?

i soak mine in diesel fuel for some extra pop when u shoot its good for an extra 450 fps 😈

I put a small thin sponge on the top and bottom of old pellet tins. A few drops of any oil and shake a little. The oil will drain off and pellets remain lightly lubed. I have about 5 tins set up like this and rotate stock. I only put oil in when really dry. If I shake and the pellets look oily its good enough. I have had no trouble with this cheap simple solution.
I wash mine in dish soap , dry , then spray them with liquid wrench dry lube part number L512 purchased at Wall Mart Marvin
fp-10 wont harm your o rings, and does a great job of keeping your bl. in top shape!
I was the first one here to use it as far as I know. I’ve been using it for several years in the Lovett Knife shop. It was developed for fully automatic weapons inn sand land where clp-break was failing. It has no solids like slick 50 and works on a molecular level. It is the only readily available oil that I know of that can actually penetrate metal and maintain friction in high heat.
I use it on all soldered blade guard junctions to help combat acid flux leaching. There are many custom Knife Makers following my findings with this method now days. It Has been a great help to us all.

I don’t know of any pellet lube that is not oring Friendly. Does anybody Know?
CO2 guns can use just about any pellet lube, But only use HPA rated pellet lube for HPA airguns.
Petroleum-based pellet lubes can’t be used in Springers or PCP’s. :Unless it’s Whiscombe Honey for Springer’s 😯

Well there are 2 orings in the AF gun that will be exposed to the
pellet lubricant and they are $4.00 per hundred so I don’t worry about what
it might do to an oring…I replace them way before they ever show
signs of wear or problems…..As long as it doesn’t blow the gun up
or catch it on fire it doesn’t worry me….
I just dump the whole tin in a ziplock, squirt a bit of oil in and mix it all around.
The next day I dump them on paper towels to soak the excess off.
Using FP-10 right now. It doesn’t take much.
I rememeber that some swore by DynaLube. Don’t remember which blend.
The only pellets I have washed were Crosman…JSB’s are clean
enough IMO. I do the same with a ziplock but I put the oil in first
and spread it around before I dump the pellets in..I only add about
8 drops of oil tot he ziplock per 2 tins of 500count pellets….I don’t
wipe any off, I just dump them in the tins….You don’t want oil in
the skirt….
A question I have here is this….the whole Idea is to protect the o-rings from any oils that could due damage to um….and I have seen o-rings practically dissolve by use of the wrong shit,now does any one know the composition of the o-rings….there is bunyl and sum other materials but my CRS brain cant think of um now,anyway,normally food grade silicone is a good lubricant…..or is that a no no ? Divers silicone, isnt that like pure silicone ?

I am using Break-Free CPL..It is a lubricator/cleaner/preservative
for bore cleaning and preservation……It is used by the military…
Not exactly readily available but can be found…..Check ebay….

All you really need is FP10, or Break-free. You can usually find one or the other at Bi-mart.
Just remember, USE VERY LITTLE. Most poeples problems with oiled pellets come from using too much, and their groups start to open up. If you can see oil, youve used too much.
