OK..I have a dumb question..
I copied this from airhogs site.
The “Pigmee” tank is just 13″ long and a scant 4″ in diameter and weighs just 4 lbs. when full.
Now..how much would the tank weigh when empty? do the tanks actually get heavier the more air that is put in? The only tank I have every filled is a air tank for airing up a tire, I never noticed it getting any heavier when it reached 120psi..thanks!!

I do not know the exact weight, but i can tell when my scuba tank if full or empty, just by picking it up, so your question is not stupid 🙂
Yes, air does have mass. I can’t tell you exactly how much but with a 80 CF 3500 PSI tank it’s a couple of pounds heavier when full.
edit: about .08 lbs per cubic foot they say…

Air has a weight of appx. 0.07 pound per cubic foot. You do the rest of the math.
