Q:

Older Vulcan.25

You people out there who have the older Vulcans in .25, what does it say in your owners manual about breach O-ring size?
In my new .25 Vulcan2 manual it says 7.5mm x 2mm for the breach O-ring. It’s so tight I can’t even pull a felt button through my barrel, can’t get it past the O-ring.

Just looked in my #2 177 vulcan manual mine say 7.5×2 70 nbr Breach 0 ring ?
Just thought I would chime in.

even in CZ they dont measure the O.D. maybe the russians do lol

have you got the sidelever?

That’s what I thought to kris. I’ll be taking my barrel off soon to lapp, i’ll check the o-ring then.

no idea, i got my .25 second hand it did not come with any manual lol

i looked into my .177 the old manual, pretty random shit, they should have given it to me to proof read it. Would not mind. The one with both czech and english in it, it says .22 has 5.5×1.5. I never had a .22 so it is some generic rubbish.

how thick is the pellet probe on the new one?

maybe the .25 has a 2mm thickness, thats why it is so dam difficult to ‘chamber’ i would try a 1.5mm but need to work out experimentally the I.D.

wow Mike that can’t be right. WTF gives?

So kris, your manual says 6.5mm x 1.5mm for the .25? With my Vulcan2 .25 it’s 7mm x 2mm in the manual.

all my guns have the I.D. as the pellet diameter, if that makes sense. 6.5mmx1.5, i did a 4mmx1.5 instead of 4.5×1.5 still fine, tighter fit. .22 is 5.5mm

I’m looking at the Leyla v2 in 22 cal.
Like the ability to side cock the gun on both sides.
Cocking with the right hand and decocking it with the left.

Zonk,

I thought that sounded a little small when I read it my manule. I know I have 25 cal, maybe wrong manule? Operation wise, screws ect I’d guess they are the same 22 vs 25, but o-rings? Particularly breach surely different sizes. I can see where dealer could get a manule in the wrong box when testing multiple guns b/f shipping. I noticed a sticky from Keyserzooze with Vulcan 2016 25 o-ring sizes….guess when needed I’ll use those sizes. I do remember buying an o-rig kit when that post was posted.

Good luck Zonk

Speaking of zoos/ Brian…..I’m liking the compactness of the Edgun Layla v2……what do you guys think?

Zonk,

I tried to take a picture with my iPad but it is too large to post. Page 30 in my owner’s manule item #2 says its size is 5.5 x 1.5

I hope this helps

Beach gun, my manual for my .22 Vulcan says 5.5 x 1.5 is for .22 cal

6.5 x 1.5 is for .25 cal I thought I heard somewhere. That’s why I can’t figure out why my Vulcan2 manual says 7mm x 2mm for breach o-ring. I’m going to pull the barrel out next week and lapp and polish it. I’ll pull the o-ring while doing it and measure, maybe i’ll try a 6.5 x 1.5 o-ring to compare.

Wow …. both of those ID look strange for a 25 cal ?
