Q:

Oldgoat: o-ring dimensions for the .25 matador?

Hi,

I know there was a group buy of o-rings, organized by oldgoat, a year or two (or three) ago.
Anyone happen to have a complete set for a .25 R3 OR the details so I could order my own set?

Isn’t it so that the .25 probe o-rings are 4mm inside diameter x 1mm width but what about outside diameter, 6mm?

It’s not urgent but I figured I rather have these things ready for whenever the stock o-rings decide to give up on me.

dear Oldgoat;

Do you think except the bolt o-rings, is there any differences with .22 cal Edgun matador o-rings?

Thanks Oldgoat… yes, I know you had posted all the sizes but I wasnt sure about where every o-ring goes on the rifle… now I know 🙂

Again, Thanks a lot!

Q

qpush: I have posted the needed O rings several times; search is your friend!!! 😛

2.5 x 1.75 Buna N 70 Duro, front air tube plug fill O ring seal

3 x 1 Buna N 90 Duro .22 cal cocking handle probe O rings

4 x 1 Buna N 90 Duro .25 cal cocking handle probe O rings

5 x 1.5 Buna N 70 Duro fill probe

8 x 1.5 Buna N 70 Duro breech end of barrel on R2.5s

25 x 3 Buna N 70 Duro air valve/regulator assembly and front air tube plug

20 x 1 Buna N 90 Duro R3 shroud O rings

7 x 1.5 Buna N 70 Duro regulator

12 x 2.5 Buna N 70 Duro regulator

The first number is the ID of the O ring, the second is the cross section.

You don’t really need a 90 duro O ring for the short front shroud tube, a 70 duro will work but: the 90 duro will take more abuse.

YOU DO need a 90 duro, buna N O ring for the cocking handle probe! You are just wasting your time putting a 70 duro in there.

You can Pay Pal me a stipend for the info! 😆

A little bump and the hopes of a reaction from the undisputed champion of o-rings (why does that sound so gay?).

I found the old o-ring group buy thread and the dimensions mentioned were the ones below.
Would these make a complete set for a .25 R3 or were other dimensions added? Would it be possible to let me know where each of these o-rings go?
I’m quite sure there is one o-ring in there which does not belong there (for the R2.5).

2.5 x 1.75 Buna 70

4 x 1 Buna 90 = Probe

5 x 1.5 Buna 70

7 x 1.5 Buna 70

8 x 1.5 Buna 90

12 x 2.5 Buna 70

20 x 1 Buna 70 /90 = Front part of the R3’s shroud

25 x 3 Buna 70 = Regulator?

Thanks, Q
