On the Topic oF compressors
Anyone notice that the Prices for these compressors isn’t getting cheaper….
Im talking bout The CHINESE ones…..
Mrodair has that AirMAX for 1295……. Then Joe Brancato sells the same one He calls the Alpha for 1495$
Then we got the Raptor….. at 1800$$$
So how does the economy model stand up to the Raptor???
Wonder what else 2014 will bring. Ive heard rumor of a couple others coming to market but nothing concrete yet.

Plus the Omegas are being updated in the US and tested and supported. Good luck on the other ones.
I checked on that and the minimum order is 20 units. They wouldn’t quote me a price, but their UK dealer got in touch and quoted 1549 Euros, plus shipping! A tad over $2000 USD.

I was hoping that the raptor/omega economy model would be sub 1k$, I guess not though. Now if only I could find a way to buy one cheaper from Alibaba: directly from the mainland 😈

I was looking at Mrod airs and Joe brancatos…. They are both the same identical compressors…. but JOE is getting 200$ more for his…. not sure whats with that
Yep. Airguns and compressors are all going up…. I was looking at PCP prices since 2008 and guess what? They climb pretty steady and regularly. The guns are improving but the prices rarely drop or even stay level. I bet the compressors will do the same as they get a foothold. 😯
Good post dman, I would love to see a review of all of the compressors. The Shoebox has a track record with lots of users out there, it would be great to have a self contained unit. Is there a six hundred dollar value between the three units? Inquiring minds want to know?

i think the one joe b is selling comes with extra stuff he sells and a different reservoir then the tupperware container. i may be wrong but it would make sense why the price is a little higher. that and i think you absorb some shipping he pays to have the compressor shipped to him from mrod since mike imported them. but that may be wrong as well
it just makes sense though, shipping something that size and weight isnt cheap
