Q:

One years worth of Air Guns

Well it started last year when I was in the Philippines, wanting a air rifle, at first I wanted a RWS 52, I did not like the heavy part of it or the hold sensitive part or the scope eating part.

Then I saw the Air Force rifles and started reading the TAG.

This is what has evolved from those desires in the tropics. Next week I get the BSA Improved Mdl D in 22 to add to the collection.

I got the Crosman 101 back yesterday from B&A who rebarreled it and added the newer peep sight, accuracy went from 5 inches at 10 meters to 1/2 inches at 15 meters shooting with my body leaning against the Subaru in the garage, I am sure it will do the same at 25 yards from a bench. I bought it as a basket case off Gunbroker, I had ABairguns reseal it and I refinished it, found out the barrel was shot and then shipped it to Byron and Associates for the new barrel. It looks and shoots like new, it is probably 65 years old.

The BSA Improved Mdl D was the personal gun of the owner of Sunshine Airguns in Miami, it is right at 100 years old and is claimed to shoot very well, he bought it many years ago in England.

The Crosman 101 and the BSA Mdl D share the distiction of being the first rifled barreled airguns in the USA and England, and were designed to shoot the Diablo pellet which was probably a off shoot of the Minie ball, the BSA came out around 1906 and the Crosman evolved from a front bicycle pump to a swing forearm in 1925. Before that it was smooth bores shooting round balls or darts with a few pioneering exceptions.

Both break 600 FPS with 14 grain pellets.

She should buy some silver jewlery off of ebay. I get some really nice silver jewlery from China for pennies on the dollar. Real deal silver

I have purchased from this seller many times with great success

My wife likes to shop for deals on Craigslist to buy jewelry, coming from an impoversihed nation, this is great sport for her, and like any beautiful woman, she loves glitter.

I try to teach her about good deals, mainly, don’t start dealing until they have lowered the price to 25% of appraised value then make low ball offers. I give her a monthly budget to go on, and encourage her to save her monthly budget so that she can buy some of the really high end stuff that folks down on their luck are selling.

Talk about the blind leading the fucking blind! ❗

I would love to have a Airwolf or an s410 or any of the high end stuff, but each month, I am right at the limit of what I have budgeted.

Then I see folks like my good friend RJ, who drop thousands in a month, but don’t get me wrong, that guy earned every penney of it, I suspect with some very painful days and nights.

And at times I have purchased some high stuff or had it made.

Years ago I had the leading masters in the USA build me a sporting rifle on a Engraved Sharps Borschardt rifle, the same month it was finshed and shipped to me, I bought both a Shilo Sharps # 1 sporting rifle and a KnightStoner SR 25 that had just come out, to shoot on my 1100 yard range.

Rifles come and go, for me women have also, as have fortunes, I have enjoyed every minute of it, and the friends I have made along the way who were just as addicted as I.

Now it is airguns, I look at that picture and realize I could have had that Airwolf or Edgun maybe a couple times over, but they are still out there still being made.

It is all fun and it is all good, you only live this particular life once.

You don’t look like you have a problem to me buddy! 😎 😎

Pab,

I am sorry, it just hurts to admit it when you have a problem. 🙁

But it sure is fun.

Aw Roach, I thought you were a better judge of character than that!

I had two Japanese girlfriends(Lang was a English teacher for the Japs so I had a easy in!) and found their lack of spice and fiestyness a bore….
I have mastered life in general so require a bit of bite when I get home 😉

Wok, Joe , Benneboy et al.,

3 Wok buts and 2 more wok 15 guards.

Problem is, everytime I want to order one, another airgun raises it’s sinisiter head, holding that needle for another fix.

I am thinking that over indulgene is posibly the best treatment, how do you think the treatment is going so far?

And I want to thank all you sick, addicted fucks for supporting me thru this dark hour.

Things could be worse, I could have an airgun that shoots sinkers, I mean look at the month RJ Porter is having. We all need a poster of RJ to put in the living room for when the wife looks at us and shakes her head.

And then there is 80 Grit, only guy I know who that has so many Crosman tubes on his bench that if they ever start rolling they will need an avalanche dog to find the bodies.

Lets face it if, Linsey Lohan had an attached dick she would be on the TAG.

You need 3 Wokbutts 😀

You have an illness Roach. I suggest you address it via an overload of yet more airguns. It should clear the infection from your mind.

Eventually.

Nice collection! Kind of therapeutic to see others just as sick as I am 😆

+1 You are not kidding! We definitely have a sickness. 😳
