Only one airgun for the end of the world
So NPR tells me global warming will kill off mankind, Fox News tells me Terrorists or Russia will kill everyone with nukes, and Wall Street says we are heading for another Great Depression. So my question to everyone is: If you had one airgun to depend on for the rest of time, which one would it be? 🙂
Thanks for all the advice everyone, I just ordered a Condor today. The practical side of me said go for the TalonSS, but the boy in me wanted raw power 🙂 Next I have to save for another month and call Tony for the shroud.

Condor seems to be pretty durable. Mine has been beat around a little bit, and it works. Ask YN, it has a scratch or two on it. 😛

They do seem durable or at least easy to repair from what I’ve read so far. I’d be more worried about my pump going out first 🙂
I hear Tony is pretty busy. You better call and get your order for the shroud in early…don’t forget the .25 barrel either! 😆
Yup, planning on the barrel too 🙂 I’d hate to order one and not be able to pay for it when it’s ready so I’ll have to settle for the back of the line when I’m ready 😥
Now I just have to read through the tuning threads and make sure I got all the right tools while I wait for it to arrive 😀

Oh, I guess I’d pick my Woodsman for the dark ages but I’m going to hate pumping once the power goes out and I can’t refill my tanks.

My subject was just a funny way of asking what’s the most durable gun out there.
Whatever you pick, and no matter what you have on hand for parts… Something you don’t have a spare of will break about a month after Armageddon.
Would be like going back to the Dark Ages.. so I’d spend my time learning Dark Ages skills.

Stock up on batteries and supplies for that Bar Monkey and at least go out in style !

I know – I just didnt want to offer an answer because theres always someone who will disagree and pick apart my answer. I think most people say a Pumper would be the best bet… but I’d take a springer with a couple of spare mainsprings and seals.
