Q:

Oops…… Killed the Stock Hex Bolt

Please assist guys.

Either a rubbish steel in the Kalibrgun bolt or my keys need replacing.

So now have a stock connecting hex bolt with a stripped head……

Can anybody suggest a decent hex bolt to replace the broken one? Size and material

4 X 25 in a decent steel?

Many thanks

No problem there either. It’s a metric bolt and thus either an M5 or M6. Just check the length.

It is a synthetic stock

Try finding one for Synthetic stock!

Heavens no! The clamp bolts are M4.

Thanks Sir Ville. So I should buy at least 5 x M5 25mm?

Stock bolt same length as clamp bolts?

Any good grade M5 bolt (usually – the new ones have 2 x M6 ) will do. I replaced mine with a Ti-bolt and while at it i bought Ti-bolts to replace the scope bridge/clamp screws as well.
