Operation six-milly.

The first part of the new valve has been successfully completed. This is going to offer a 6mm air-flow and will retain the stock valve-body. Kewl, huh? 😆

Keep in mind that increasing the diameter increase the valveseat. That increases onening force. To open the valve you’ll need heavier hammer heavier spring more springtension. This all doesn’t increase the lifespan of your triggerparts and valveparts! Better you imagine the job at hand and machine the smallest valve for that job! you can get to 70 ftlbs with just a 25gram delrin hammer if your valve is properly designed and still be inceadibly consistent! Light hammers make the rifle more pleasurable to shoot and decreases locktime increasing the accuracy potential

In .25 4mm transferport is enough for about the 70ftlbs I mentioned!

My advice is make yourself a few valvebody’s or even complete bottles for every caliber you want to shoot!

I’m not looking for any particular power or caliber, I just want to max it out. It can then be regulated down to a particular desire by use of restricted heads of various bores.

I’ve made scale drawings to work from but I’ll save posting them for when and if the prototype works, they won’t survive the ‘TAG treatment’ otherwise. 😆

Now I get it 😯 hope it works out. If it works out like you think you better make about a hundred of them. Me thinks there mite be a market for some thing like that. And thanks for the explanation. 😀

It’s a means of maxing-out the stock valve-body. It’s not possible to modify the stock brass parts, there’s not enough room. Mine will have a chamber hanging below the body where the bigger spring assembly will go, allowing a stem size of 8mm and a bore of 6mm. Kind of like a Blodnob valve with a wee turbo. 😆

It’s also going to have interchangeable heads (one-piece tophat & stem), one for sub-12ftlbs and one for max, plug & play stylee.

There will be x-rings for all moving seals.

The design is sound I believe, I’m now in the process of machining part #2. So far so good. 🙂

Sounds really cool 😀 , but I am not sure why or how it will work could you explain it for those of us that are not very bright. 😳
