The one 3rd from the left. A bit tramp looking and face not all that, but damn, the body was hot.
Of course i did! I give NOTHING to nobody for free. That’s just my way of doing things.

And i had outside help, financially.
Now i laugh on the way to the Gunshop. 😉
I guess Hoot was wrong….you did charge for sloppy seconds 😆
A highly regarded FINN said an oil finish on a cricket stock would look better so after striping the stock I gave it a hand rubbed oil finnish the stock not the FINN!
Very satisfied with my purchase, Orings are on the way, shooting at 880 FPS out of the box.
That’s a bloody lie! There are no highly regarded Finns. Anywhere.
There are some highly retarded Finns though….
If you stripped the stock then oil it and let it dry. Repeat the procedure when the surface is dry. Do this 3-4 times and when the last layer has dried mix 50-50 water and Vinegar. Rub that goo on and let it soak/dry. Then take 320 grit sand paper and sand the rough layer away. It will get kinda Shark skin’ish surface after the Vinegar treatment. Then oil again. Repeat this whole procedure 5-6 times and your stock will have a deep luster, you know how some fine stocks look kinda translucent? That’s what you get – the more sanding ( go for finer and finer in the sand paper every time you sand) the better it’ll get.
Lot of work, i know but that’s how it’s done.
A note ; when i refer sanding i don’t mean sanding away material- although you can sand away in places you want to alter the shape on- just remove the microscopic roughness.
Time consuming but it also gives you a reason to oil & massage your Gun without the Wife getting too jealous.

I hear you! Before my accident two years or so ago i was racing Motocross and i’ve been doing that discipline since i was seven years old.
Although i’d already stepped down from serious racing my yearly budget incl. Bikes, parts, tires, oils, equipment, transport (a Box Van),race fees, insurances , license fees and whatnot would easily pay a lifetime of high-end Airguns, optics and all. Twice over.
And i had outside help, financially.

Here,s the Bug, Steve at WWAG was grand to deal with, the stock I got was a return from a customer it had a few cosmetic issues and he gave me a fair discount.

It is a little ridiculous but hobby’s are fun and why I work wide open too, I recently sold off some very serious toys so i’m just moving some play money around a little and having fun doing it.
Hi Doug,
What a way to spend more than 10k on air guns in a month and a half. Life is good!
John
You’re going to love that Gun, enjoy it
Steve at WWAG is such a wonderful guy to work with it makes a bad day go good
I have a synthetic stock coming and can’t wait till I can dress this pup up for some tough action

I just hung up with Steve inquiring about the same exact gun, no sweat, you are ahead of me in line.. In fact he was test firing something just prior to shipment this afternoon and I did not hear back until after hours a while ago.
You were right! The short blonde 😆
Sorry Coda I didn’t answer you question. She was the short Blonde, always stood on the end at the pep rallies.

PS: Great forum, thanks for the information and chuckles 😆 😆 😆
A good choice! Wait for the H-bird could be as long as the wait for the second coming of Jesus. :6:
