ordered new reg,and cleaned stuff
well got my new reg from jd airman,it was supposed to be metric threads to fit af tank, but it was threads to fit different tank , very dissapointed.i sat there and realized i can just switch the shim stacks out of my 2300 psi reg and do a swap with the 1800 psi i just got. after that i took a look in my airforce tank and couldnt believe the moisture inside,i dryed that with a hair dryer and by placing a silica pack and leaving that in the sun with a peace a shirt and rubber band over the top. then i decided to get into my shitty airfoce pump, i gotta say it is easy to do it, i replaced orings and cleaned out all this black gunk, and applyed more silicone grease.its working a little better ,but a hill is deffinately in my future. Anybody else see alot of moisture in their tanks when using pumps, would the moisture affect accuracy or consistency in any way?

My tanks were bone dry but there was signs of moisture at the valve parts. To check I unscrewed the brass spring retainer out and check the spring, nut and back end of the valve. There was a bit of gunk there that can only be explained by moist air from the pump. The inside of the tank itself was in perfect condition.
I was using an AF pump that did not have a moisture filter.
