Q:

Origins of Airforce air rifles

Good Morning, my name is Franco and i live in Mancester, UK. Could someone please tell me the origins of these air rifles, who invented them and where they are produced. I gather the barrels are mde in Germany, but where does the rest of the guns manufactured? The complete history really.

Thanks very much, Franko.

a UK bloke called geof darvill had an idea for a take down rifle
he knocked up a working model (although the pics ive seen it doesn’t look like it works) and he showed it off at a u.s gun show,
another fella called mike mccaslin liked the idea and to cut a long story short they went into “partnership”,
mike (airforce) called them the “talon” and for the uk market geof (gunpower) had the “stealth” range

Read the magazine articles on their sight. There is also an article somwhere on the web about the origins.

Yes it was obvious and i did go there first, but the site doesn’t say much about the history of the company.

I would have thought that the answer would be obvious……
