Out of tophat adjustment! WTF???

I recently got a chrony, and i want to “optimize” my rig, wich is a .22 condor (24″ barrel), with a standard talon tank, and the condor hammer weight removed.
I read on the reference section the exellent tutorial by WOK about adjusting the tophat, and how i should start at 0.070, the only problem is, mine is currently at about .085, and it wont go any lower than that!
if i try to close it more, it just wont turn. Im out of threads on the stem. 👿 👿
so what in gods name im i supposed to do??

i DO want to tone it down a bit, cause CPs are goin out at about 1050fps 😯 but i cant close the TH anymore.

Any sugestions?
