Q:

Owners Manual in English

Hi Everybody! What is happening with the English version of the Russian owners manual? Sure would be nice to read up on it (.22 R2.5 Matador). Lots of questions might be answered without pestering Ol Hoot and all the other very knowledgeable gents on this forum. Thank you very much! RayS

Unfortunately….no. 😳

You are talking about the gun being short right Uncle HOOT!!!

Either way….it will be very short and easy to handle!

That’s a relief!!! I was afraid you might post a picture of you holding something else 😯

May be that’s because she has an EDgun already ????

Or she may have been seing the pic of the noble senior Hoot in his red pants….???? 😉

😀

My mum is 70 and running around like a young girl, the age is in the sole not in the ID 🙂

I believe you are not 69, don’t lie 🙂

Ed….”Patience” and “Edgun Owner” are the same word.

We love and admire your craftsmanship, or none of us would wait for months, even over a year, to receive your product.

Trust me when I say….”We will wait until hell, or the Russian bureaucratic Rules, freezes over!”

Personally, I will own a Lelya if I have to wait until the day I die. At 69 years of age, that is not an idle statement.

Thank you Hoot! As usuall you are quite right. I have seen (I believe) all of the video’s on youtube that pertain to edgun’s. All very informative! Man do I love my Edgun. Thanks again Hoot and everybody else on this forum. Ray

I managed to get an Edgun manual into a text file, had it translated, and I was disappointed in what I could make out.

First off, a straight translation won’t make a lot of sense because the way sentences are put together in Russian are much different than in English. You can get an idea of what is being said, but it is all very very basic information.

You would be better advised to get a list of all of Ed’s English language videos and utilize them. The owner’s manual really doesn’t go into any significant detail as regards maintenance, dismantling, or O ring replacement.

An air gun’s owner’s manual usually does not have details that we would need to know for our purpose. It’s generally for the novice user to ensure he knows where the pellet goes and how not to shoot his eye out.

So, don’t expect much. Stick with the videos for the details we crave.

Thank you Depeche!

Working on it.
But first i need my gun to arrive.
Have a Russian friend who will translate it to Danish, and then i myself will post an english copy…but patience is the key here ❗
