Q:

P-Rod Arrived….

Picked up a used P-Rod off the Yellow a couple weeks back. Great little gun. None of the accuracy issues or any other issues I’ve read about on some guns.

3000psi fill gets me around 30 shots starting out at around 690fps up to around 720 and back down to around 690 using 14.3gr Premiers and it does shoot them accurately. Spoons at 40 yards are no problem and nice ragged hole groups at 25 yards are the norm for this guy.

I modified a 13xx stock to put on it, just a little touch up with the Dremel and it fits fine. Also put on a MM shroud extension on it. Need to get the forearm to match now.

….and promptly got it’s first blood… a feral pigeon at around 20 yards was a pop and flop for this gun.

Hi Rob, I am pleased to hear that your P-rod is shooting well. My replacement P-rod is much more accurate. I am working on quieting it down. That’s a nice looking stock.

ROB, report to the nearest hospital……………YOUR SICK BRO!

Nice gun man. Those things are really popular. A few more post like this and i’m gonna force myself to buy one.

Nice looking shooter! I like that stock a lot. Have fun!

Lee! How goes? Yes, sir…. that thing really is a shooter. Having a ball with it. Hits what I want it to hit and gives a good number of shots. Need to do something about that forearm though!

Fox…. that scope… it’s a cheapie Crosman scope. I think it came on my 392LE I got some years back. Dont have anything else spare to put on it right now, but would like to put something a little better on it, but for now, this little 3-9×40 is working out good enough for pigeons at least!

Glad you like it Rob, Kind of have sellers remorse now. lol!

Nice looking gun Rob.
I like mine also, mine likes Crosman 14.3 hp’s.

What scope are using? 😯
