P-rod double air tube bullpup:

Did a make over on my bullpup.
New stock black sprayed fine textured paint.
She 20 inches long, other mods were .118 port, two o-ring on the valve face, drilled out air striper holes bigger.

Played with the setting of the power.

This maybe helpful for anyone wanting a twin air tube for their p-rod.
Even if you don’t run it as a bullpup. My extra tube is I think 10 inches long.
I want not too add any too the length of the gun, but just too get more shots & power.

The gun can be set up from:
65- shots @ 14 fpe
50- shots @ 17 fpe
24- shots @ 20 fpe
It is a flexible set up.

As of now I’m running her 50 shots @ 17 fpe.
My goal was getting the most fpe from her at 50 shots.
Thinking that was a balance of power and shots.

As long as you like them that’s all it matters, Fox. All thoughs animals that has been killed by your guns probably never even care what the gun looks like anyways. Keep doing what you enjoy. It’s just a HOBBY.

Looks like a subspecies of “Peckerwood” from Costa Rica!

Have a nice day. 😀

As u say u enjoyed. Building it thats all that matters mate aslong as usable who cares the bullpup seems to be suffering fashion over function these days ! What wood did u use to build it ?

😆 😆 😆

I once bought a fat goldfish in college that looked like that stock. My Piranha ate it. 😯

Dear Foxbutt,

No need to get all “pissy” about this. We are your friends trying to prevent you from embarrassing yourself, and the airgun community in general, by not displaying that stock in public.

Let’s reason this out…you probably bought that stock from the same guy I bought mine from. The hard fact of life is that some individuals are just born with “shit” for taste. They didn’t ask to be born that way, but it is what it is. We are not here to damn your personal bad taste in stock design. You like it. That tells us all we need to know. Whoever made that stock has much in common with you.

What we are trying to do is prevent you from multiplying the “over-build” qualities that a double air tube presents, by necessity, to achieve more shot count. That improvement, and it is an improvement to those desiring it’s benefits, can be enhanced by wrapping it in a more sleek, well curved, thin, attractive stock. Your’s looks like a pregnant Elk turd…and I say that with all kindness, and your best interests in mind.

Please…let us help you. There is no need for you to suffer. There is talent out here available to prevent you from “Social Distress” at the gun range.

We beg you….there IS a cure…close your eyes and swallow the medication!!!

With fond regards and best wishes…

Kindly ‘Ol Uncle Hoot:

Can you get your hand/thumb/trigger finger around that grip? That is all I would care about.

Sorry to say Mr Foxback but I agree.. that stock is just way out of proportion to what other wise could be a nice little pup with a high shot count.. Myself Im not a fan of the P rod double tubes as they are just plain ugly.. I rather just fill my gun more often.
I took the liberty to trim the fat off that stock and refine the lines a bit.. I have only removed material from what you have now not added any so it is possible.. there’s still plenty of room for linkages etc. Ive seen your builds and know you are very capable but it seems that only the design of the stocks let them down cosmetically.

Dang !!!!….that’s one ugly BullPup 😯 😯 😯 😯

That stock is actually an insult to truck bed liner!!!

There’s no shortage of wood in the world…why don’t you trim down that stock? It doesn’t have to look like a pregnant 2″ X 6″…chop off the excess fat, and put some curves in there.

Mechanically, it’s a very nice bullpup setup, but that stock needs serious help! Get a Dremel, a circular wood-cutting bit, and start carving!!!

Hoot:

i rember u bashing all bullpups before, u swore u never ever own one.
u want too talk about a ugly bullpup, the storm pups lol

Thx Larry,
nope she holding air just fine. 😀

Foxback, very well done, a go to PCP for sure. Any leaking issues after adding the second tube?
