P-Rod goes bullpup.

P-Rod goes bullpup.
Well the first time I had saw that their was going to be a Crosman pistol,
& I saw the pics of it. It was crying out to be made into a bullpup to me.

So I got #99 off the yellow classified. So I got the gun the Monday after Christmas.
Shot two mags worth of pellets thought it, and was quite pleased with the gun.
There is no ping with the gun like the M-rod rifel, which is good.

It sounds like an A.A. 22. 410 carbine, on full power. Which to me is not bad at all, since it has a short barrel. And took it apart to do a bullpup conversion. Most of the time when you do a bullpup conversion, you are taking a longer gun & making it shorter.
But since this gun started life as a pistol, you are adding to the length of the gun.
I could of made her 18 ½ inches long. But I settled on 20 inches long for her.

I had a choice piece of walnut, with nice grain & a light band color running thought it.
That I had been saving for over two years.
I used a natural stain, I did not want to loose the light grain band running thought the stock. And used a semi-gloss varnish. I also made from aluminum the scope mount & butt pad spacer.
And 50 hours of work later, here she is.

What is the finish on the bottom half of the stock?

How did you link up the triggers?

An interesting concept and design early in the P-rod’s young career. Look forward to your response. Most of us are interesting in the internals as well as the finish.
