( Did you take out the black flat washer above and below the plastic TP? )

Yes I took them out, & it worked out ok. I guess you could try it both ways to see what works best.

I would not drill it out, you will have a loss of shots then. 😯
The gun is on the edge, now, with the best number of shots & power.

Post your numbers when you can, I’d like to see what your gun will do. 😀
Also Hoot check out this link, you can see how both mods, affect the little gun & what was done. Look at his shot string he posted, then look at mine.

I did it today. Even Roachcreek could do this with his eyes open.

I left them in and cut the tube to length of the TP, assuming the soft black washers would compress and perhaps hold air better. It would have been easier to do it the other way, but I wanted to try this to see if it would work. It does. We’ll see if it stands the test of time.

I know one thing, there is a hell of a blast of air coming out that barrel.

One thing, the holes in the tube and the breech were REALLY small and I had a terrible urge to drill them out a bit, but I didn’t. It would seem they are a bottleneck to the wide open tubing. Let me know if you have the balls to do this and I will follow suit. It would seem to just about guarantee max air flow if done.

I’ll post pictures of what I did later.

Regards and thanks for the tip for so easy a mod! I wish I was smart instead of so damn good looking.

Kindly ‘Ol Uncle Hoot 😯

(I’ve read reports that one fellow replaced the tp with a 1/4″ poly tube and was shooting in the upper 600/low 700 fps range with factory settings.)

That be me. 😀

It’s a piece a cake, just take out the breech screws & follow what I did in the above link.

Post your numbers when you can. 😯

I already have one and am well on the way of modifying it to carbine use.

I’ve read reports that one fellow replaced the tp with a 1/4″ poly tube and was shooting in the upper 600/low 700 fps range with factory settings.

I’m not sure how difficult it is to take the breech off the P-rod. In the 24xx you ended up with a hand full of parts. Have you taken the breech off yours? Any advice?

Are you going to get one Hoot? 🙄
I like mine. 😯
