You can turn the captions on in the bottom right of the YouTube screen, the captions aren’t alway 100% correct but gives you a better idea of whats being said. There was a lot of joking about the “quality”.
I bet pints were abound. Though the one ole boy was advertising for our buddy Jack Daniels from the looks of his cap.

Wish these were closed captioned for those of us that are english only speakers. These guys look like they’d be a blast to hang out with. I enjoyed watching and didn’t understand a word.

and i couldn’t listen to them because i am at work and by chance got time and posted ,,,, so, good info that you have mentioned all,,, and the price is just bring me a heart attack ,,, :suprisedn: :suprisedn: 😯 😯 :suprisedn: :suprisedn: i am shocked ,,, and so cheap comparing to all the PCPs ,,, rifles or Bullpups ,,,
but the most most most important point here is the accuracy and the quality of the parts ,,,,, we need more details and accuracy testing ,,, if the accuracy hits other BPs ,,, then ,,,, the dooms day is near ,,,
but i don’t think the quality and accuracy will be like other BPs… and still who knows ?????
I’ve seen through both of them. Fun videos to watch to be honest, – and I learned that smoking should not be allowed during filming. That said, it’s impressive to see a March 3-24/42 on top of a P.12 !!! Way to go !!! :biggrinn:
As it happens I do understand quite a bit of Dutch, – so the conversation was probably more meaningful to me than a lot of you. The short version is the two guys were very impressed with the P12, although the beauty of the stock didn’t impress them much. Also some minor leaks that they fixed very quickly gave room for comments. But they repeatedly came back to the price of € 485 which was seen as bargain compared to Edguns…….
Out of the box that thing shot JSB 5.51s with a total spread of 1,4 m/s (some 4.5 fps) through a full string and the 5.52s with a spread of 1,86 m/s (some 6 fps). That for a start was seen as impressive. I agree with them…….
And the speed shown was about 270 m/s (some 885 fps) with the 5.52s and a little less with the 5.51s. Out of the box this thing shoots very well. Nothing said about accuracy though. That may come later…..
Now, – a retail price in Holland of €485 (USD 673 approx.) !!!! That is veeeery surprising (Holland is NOT known for their low prices). Tells me a lot about what to expect in other markets later on. Also it should give some indications about mark-ups.
Watch it, – it appears Wingman may be right, – this P12 may become a serious contender in the volume market….!!!! 😉
