p30 velociraptor
All Replies
I got one on order, IE worked. Does the LDC come back over the barrel or mount on the end? Regards, Tom
I was wondering also because he was single loading in the video. Im trying to wrap my head around the 20 shots per fill with the p12 airtube at 900+ fps. in .30..
Does this rifle use a magazine or is it single shot?
Tom,
May be your browser.
I just tried it and it went thru.
We still have 12 left.
If you are still having trouble, give me a call directly.
Our number is on the website brother.
Any questions you have I can go over with you personally.
Thanks
I put one in the shopping cart and it shows nothing in cart when I try to pay. Also can’t find anyplace to buy moderator. Regards, Tom
They are on sale now.
Retail is 1050 and you can save 50 bucks pls shipping if purchased before the end of the month.
(That is when we are shipping them, after the poolville show and LASSO shoot)
The SLRS LDC system, does fit these and runs 89 bucks if you would like It shrouded.
We have been taking our time and proving these out BEFORE we released them for sale.
The accuracy on the P-30 is guaranteed and all are fully tuned and target tested at no additional charge.
The only option is do you want a shroud or not.
Here is a link to the webstore direct.

I would have had these done quicker, but with the shoot and show coming up, we wanted to take the time to dial them in first.
As usual, if you don’t like it, send it back.
Thanks Guys

I got $ on a flex too. But might have to get one of these as well. Also my good friend is looking for a gun and this might just do it for him.
Only thing that concern me is the sound… Doesnt look to be shrouded.
My volume isnt great on my comp. but i thought i heard aug. 29.. Price is around a grand.. I was actually very interested in this gun but went with the flex instead.. I might have to have both.. Ill be homeless and starving, but ill have both lol.
When will these be out for purchase and what are they going to cost? Looks like a great gun.
Could some one please post a full review of the rifle? Likely in .22 ?

WOW… Just got the email back from mrod and saw those 50 yard groups!! Me likey :winkn: I might just have to have me one of those.. I can feel another impulse buy followed by an angry g/f coming on…
I’ve received photos of 50yd groups..
Astounding. They’re demonstrating one at Lasso..
Mrodair is producing their own barrels now. If Mike can make them all half as good as the photos of the one I’ve seen.. I’m getting one. Absolutely!
Your also supposed to be able to adjust them up and really get them cookin’ if you want (1,000fps ++ in a .30!).

Tom,
My apologies for the delay in response time.
Having a few import issues this week due to an explosion at one of the ports in china.
(Not Airgun related) but some of our shipments were due to come thru there and have been re routed.
This is not great news for Airgun imports from china, but I suppose it just part of what we have to deal with.
Anyway, to address your question we are using the SLRS system on the factory shroud and testing with both short and full length to see if there is any benefit to be had one way or another in the P-30.
No need to add weight without benefit, but on the other hand, if your going to pay for an LDC, it needs to be effective.
Also in P-30 news this week, we are shooting them in preparation for the LASSO this weekend and now I have some talented help and its working out very well.
I’m doing the tuning and Buck (new son in law in the P-30 YouTube video) is doing the shooting.
Seems to be working out real well and I have the tune pretty much nailed down.
Besides, I’m starting to figure out I’m just a shakey old fart and not near the sharp shooter I used to be.
Here is the string for the tune we are using in the P-30
Not pushing the power, but trying to get flatter and more consistent strings.
Shooting the 30 Cal JSB and filling just over 3600 psi and our target fps was 880-910 for our test.

—— at this point, noticed change in db readings and started down in power more erratic.
871.3
867.7
—— at this point, it was obvious we were getting out of the sweet spot altogether.
856.8
Gauge reading on the SPA end cap gauge needs to be verified with another known accurate gauge, to add accurate psi readings at shot intervals, but so far very happy with the results from tuning without a reg.
This tune, was with our intake restriction type depinger installed. (Knocks power back about 30-40 fps)
Without the depinger installed, the power was much more impressive (for those into that) and can be externally adjusted to 1015-1020 in our testing so far, but for this tune I was going for target shooting.
This test, was with the standard 310cc Airtube and HST flush (middle of adjustment range)
Just over 880, up to just over 910 and back over the course of 20 shots, seems to be decent on chrony numbers, now we are moving to paper hole punching and will post the results starting at 100 yards over the next few days.
May be after poolville this weekend before I can post much more.
So far, I’m truly impressed with the accuracy of our new barrels, as are those who have been testing them for us.
We will have a couple of modded examples at poolville for those who want to punch a few holes themselves and 28″ barrels available for sale in .30 and .35 JSB calibers there.
Any of you 30 and 35 builders want to get one headed your way, just shoot me an email.
Thanks Guys
