Pamona Air Guns selling Edgar Bros XVI
I noticed that Pamona Air Guns is advertising the Edgar Bros XVI, “Call for details and price”…
It’s a heavy duty AF type rifle and a repeater and a fine looking pcp.
He’s closed on Mondays, but anyone interested might want to give him a call.

They don’t get any quieter than the are. There shroud design is what I based my shrouds on and went from there. I changed it some to better what was already really good.
This is on the older guns. Not sure if the newest is a fully shrouded gun or on the end of the barrel like the first version.
I have read that they had problems with the magazine indexing system. Anyone know it they fixed the problem? I wonder if tony would work on one to quiet up some more…
I have 2 of the the older ones, Logun sweet 16. They shoot good. Only have 14″ barrel and shoot around 820 fps with 21 gr. I had to shim the hammer spring on the second one. It only was shooting 775 fps. My brother has one and it shoots in the 830’s also.
One I put a 21″ barrel and extended the shroud that shoots around 900 fps with Kodiak’s. They are quiet.
Them are pretty sweet looking…… can we get them in the US?
Always thought they were enteresting looking guns. And I understand the newer version is supposed to be somewhat improved. Annnnnnnd—–It’s a proven repeater! 😀
Hoot, you could always pick one up, and mark out the gar in Edgar and have an EdGun Brothers one of a kind! 😉

Steve told me he was going to see what they could do in-house to bring the FPS/FPE beyond the English limits. He’s closed Mondays. Perhaps I’ll give him a call Tuesday if I remember, and ask about progress. I’d be amazed if they haven’t beefed it up by now…there would’t be much of a market if he didn’t.
I’ve been so wrapped up with Edguns lately I’ve neglected to keep track of what’s happening elsewhere.

Pamona Air Guns has them for $1295 in .117 and .22 caliber but strictly at 12 FPE.
He did mention that in a few months they might tear one down and see if they can modify it to FAC standards, but not right away.
Nice piece of kit, so I’ll call them this Fall and see what’s going on.

I have 2 Logun S-16s which is the earlier version made in the same factory. I like them except for the 19 metric o rings.
Some how it is regulated the way it’s built. I put a etac and a reg on one
and it did not change anything.
I do run a short etac and a 48 ci bottle.
Mine has a 21″ barrel on it instead of the 14″ stocker.
Shoots kodiac’s around 880 fps.
The boy’s gun is actually a S-16xs and shoots a little slower at 760-785 fps with 14″ barrel. My brothers S-16 shoots around 810 fps with 14″ barrel.
I need to compare spring between the to and see if they are the same.
I’d like to get one of these will have to give them a call.. looks sweet! I have always wanted one.
I see my next rifle purchase for the year. :p

In the UK we can get them for £450 new, but prices usually don’t stay the same across the pond.
One thing I found interesting is that it doesn’t have a regulator (I don’t think) and I’m not sure if the firing valve is in the neck of the bottle or inside the body. Inside the body would allow the easy addition of a regulator.

I’ve always loved the look and feel/idea of this gun since the moment I saw it. If it wasn’t only sub 12 ft lba I would’ve already bought one. If they do decide to tweak them to FAC standards you should update us here as I know many would buy one. Especislly considering they’re only about $1k
