Q:

Parts for the Vulcan?

I was very excited about this gun. And I don’t mean to be a stick in the mud but this issue should be addressed. I recently inquired about the Vulcan .22 with a US Vendor and was told they didn’t know if they were going to continue carrying the Vulcan because of not being able to get parts. I was told that the company making Vulcan was more interested in filling orders then sending parts out. I am sure that this small company is working like crazy to fill orders. I guess there has been some problems with a few guns which is expected with any new release and this vender wanted to make good on it’s sale of the Vulcan and couldn’t get parts. This is not made up it came from a vendor and it’s a concern. I just bought a Cricket and was looking to buy a Vulcan too.

Well, now we know parts are available for the Vulcan.

Keep in mind their currently there are importer and gun manufacture that are trying to close down smaller airgun vendors and one way is to not only squeeze off supply of certain airguns but also to make the airguns ,the smaller vendors are selling, look problematic

So when you come onto a forum with information that is easily shown to be incorrect people are going to take you to task.

You make a great point King. I understand your point. My own concerns about the Vulcan were addressed by my post. I don’t own a Edgun however folks posted that when Edguns came out they had issues getting parts. This was my concern. I don’t work in the airgun industry I just buy their products. I am in health care and have been for years. I just want to make sure I can get parts if anything happens to the gun. My original post was rather benign. But Steve the opportunist jumped on it like a shark smelling blood. Maybe he got himself a new advertiser at the expense of a poster. I was already tossed off his board because I posted that Freedom of Information is important and that if information is being suppressed why bother using the boards. He tossed me locked me out several years ago. Turned out Mac1 left a post on there and Steve took it down some one commented and I commented to their post. He claimed in an email to me that he thought I was working for Mac1. I don’t know Mac1. I have never personally communicated with him other then getting a PM from him on how to make my gun better. Then I read on another board that because Mac1 would not advertise on Steve’s board he tossed him off. I don’t know if the second part of this is true or not this is what I read on another board but I do know this Steve never shot me an email to follow up on all his crazy accusations. He was out of his mind when I first posted this. He was pm’ing me to find out who said it. But when the issue got hot which I never intended. He locked my account and posted his hair brain post all his crazy yellow sheep came out saying crazy things. Steve’s spineless he won’t respond to me after his attack. I will introduce myself to him next airgun show let him explain himself in person.

I don’t police morality but none-the-less you acted in an irresponsible and immoral way.

Master morality’ and ‘slave morality’. Slave morality values things like kindness, humility and sympathy, while master morality values pride, strength, and nobility. Master morality weighs actions on a scale of good or bad consequences unlike slave morality which weighs actions on a scale of good or evil intentions. For Nietzsche, a particular morality is inseparable from the formation of a particular culture. This means that its language, codes and practices, narratives, and institutions are informed by the struggle between these two types of moral valuation.

Now that we got your Friedrich Nietzsche lesson out of the way. When you use a forum to manipulate or push a personal agenda then you are a scumbag.

.

If those were my intentions I would agree with you and your post however they were not. You don’t know me. You have no idea what I do for a living how many children I have. Where I live. Who my friends are. You have no clue. I would love to see you and Steve and the rest of the Yellow sheep and have you tell me this stuff in person. Steve won’t even respond to my emails or my response.

I’m not buying it…..

For wild west to tell you that….would be shooting themself in the foot.

Makes no sense that man answering the phone is a sales man(either way you look at it)

Selling guns is what puts food on there table.

That would be like a car dealer telling you they can get parts for a certain manufacture.

I think you have alternative motive here.

You are a joke. I don’t know you and you don’t know me you just leaving a comment like this tell me you are a simple minded sheep.

Why not just post the name of the vendor? If you’re being honest then you have nothing to fear. There are things you can post in public forums and there are things you cannot. I had provided the email of AGT in my original review. Why ask on a public forum, why not just email the company? Personally I think your post was irresponsible.

Who are you the morality Police? Even if you showed up at my house for BBQ’s I would not care what you really thought. I come to these boards for information. I buy airguns on that information. I have my guns worked on by vendors on that information. I buy modifications for my guns with this information. This is why I posted this irresponsible or not. Not being able to get parts for a 1600.00 gun is a huge issue. Freedom of information keeps the consumer safe and happy. Is it irresponsible if I buy a Mod from Tony and it doesn’t work that I tell that to people? However that has never been the case and I have left glowing posts on Tony’s products and glowing responses to others posts about his products and the products of other vendors I have used like Rapid Roy, Neil Clauge and Will Piatt that do exceptional work. I have gotten bad products or not gotten all the information about airguns I have purchased in the past 5 or 6 years this is why I started coming onto the forums to learn.

I didn’t post the name out of respect. Wild West Airguns is the dealer. WWAG. I had a very good experience with them. It was not them this issue would have been with, it is Vulcan manufacturer if it were true that you couldn’t get parts. The information I got I passed along was information I got from one of this vendors reps. I may have given Steve the wrong guys name but it did come from this source. If a vendor is saying such stuff I believe you need to be concerned and have the information to make better decisions especially when they are supplying their product.

It’s a touchy business to be in…

I suggest recording the phone calls with airgun dealers it’s the only way to keep them honest!!

What I posted on the Yellow is exactly what the rep at the vender told me when I inquired about the Vulcan. Steve can make what ever assumption he would like and he can post it that I manufactured this for what ever reason he is claiming which is ridiculous. However this is not what happened. Maybe you can check my thread called Vulcan has saftey and Cricket doesn’t. I ordered the cricket from this vendor not knowing it did not have a safety. I have kids and I feel more secure with a safety. It is posted here go look. I was thinking of returning the Cricket to the vendor because of this issue. So I called I asked if he had any bull-pups with safeties he told me that the cricket .35 had a safety but no other cricket had a safety I said that was too big and that I already have .35 bull-pup. He told me the Vulcan had a safety I asked him if I could send the cricket back he told I could and I asked how long would I be waiting for a Vulcan. He told me exactly what I posted on the Yellow Forum go read it. Go read the original post. Because I made an offer to a guy $100 less then what he was willing to sell his Vulcan for means I made this up to save a $100.00 that is a joke. I buy high end airguns all the time. I buy high end modifications and I send my guns out to be worked on by gun smiths. Ask Will Piatt who has seen several of my guns, Neil Clague, Rapid Roy and Anthony at TT. I bought a $375.00 Bull Stock from Poland and trigger linkage for my Evanix Blizzard. I just purchased a rapid stock for the Cricket this week. I am going to manufacture this all over $100.00? Folks are clueless. I told the seller of the Vulcan that I had backed off from my offer to him because of the same reasons I gave on Yellow parts a $100 would not have changed my mind. I did not haggle with him or tell him that 1300.00 was my final offer I told him I backed off from the Vulcan. Glad Big Steve figured it out maybe he should have sent me another PM but instead it appear he did a PR job to save the Vendor who is his Client! Steve knows who the vendor is because he asked me in a PM who it was. If I was making it up I wouldn’t have told him the vendor. I may have got the name of the rep wrong who I thought told me this because I did speak with several folks at this company but what I was told was what I was told and I stand by what I wrote.

Ah – the reason why he would not to divulge the vendor here. :butkick:

Looks like Oakey dough kee has been exposed
